Early 2000s trauma. One of the chairs was *duct-taped*. A roach looked at me and nodded like, "You sure you wanna do this, sis?" I showed the tech a pic of the cutest ombré set and she said, "Yeah, I can do that!" Ma'am. No, you can't. What I got looked like *a melted popsicle had beef with my fingers.* The shape? Coffin. The finish? Cursed. My pinky nail is doing the gangnam style. Midway through, she answered the phone with her *elbow* and then said, "Oops." That "oops" lives rent-free in my nightmares now. She cut my cuticle like she was mad at it. I bled. She sprayed alcohol on it and said, "That means it's clean!" Girl what? Then she hit me with the bill like she just performed surgery. $95 for what? She is very sweet and I enjoyed my mani with her. The hand and arm massage was great, wish it lasted longer It was my first time getting my colour applied here and I was very happy. I had my colour consultation with Emily & Marcela, they found the perfect colour and made sure they explained everything they suggested and did. They were very careful because I advised them about allergies, I really appreciate that. The decaf coffee was very good. I love how the spa is consistent with their branding throughout the spa. One suggestion just communicate what you would like and they will give you suggestions to make sure that you leave satisfied. Overall I enjoyed the experience and look forward to going back.

A lot of their staff changes regularly for an unknown reason but the 'new staff' is amazing nonetheless. When you enter the back area, there are lounge chairs to lay on as well as a counter filled with different sorts of (organic) tea, water, nuts, chocolate, and what seemed to be brownies. July is my birth month and I had a free gift to pick up. I walked into the store and a friendly woman said hi. She let me know that I could get a free facial. This store is one of three in the province that provides facial services. Cool! I browsed around. Another woman asked me if I needed any help. I asked where the nail polish section was. She told me that they didn't have one. However, I could always ask to have nail polish shipped to the store and I could save the shipping costs. Although it's a good service that exists, it wouldn't do much good for this visitor. Eventually, I got coconut lip balm. I have heard good things about it and wanted to see for myself. Paying for my items went smoothly. I pulled out my Insider barcode from the Sephora app to be scanned. The woman at the cash register said that I am the most organized customer she has ever met. That was nice of her to say, although I didn't feel like I was! I got to choose my free birthday gift. I went with a facial cream set, which is in my rental car! This store is bright and cheerful.
