We threw out the suggestion that we could get her a limo and of course she was overjoyed. We contacted the owner and asked all of the important questions as I was still a bit apprehensive about a trip to downtown Sac for about a dozen 17 and 18 year olds. My initial conversation was with the owner who provided me with all of the details I needed to make an informed decision. He provided me his rates, which I felt were very fair, as well as the rules and regulations for the kids while in the limo. He shared how long he had been in business as well as some examples of the services he had provided. He shared that he had provided limo service numerous times over the years to teenage kids for prom, as well as other special events. He was sincere and expressed his commitment to keeping them safe and providing a memorable experience. He also gave me assurances that I would be able to speak to the driver in advance and also shared the drivers credentials. He provided me with the driver's contact info so that I could speak to him and it allowed me to determine my own comfort level. I decided to move forward and felt my daughter and her friends were in good hands. The driver arrived like clockwork at the designated time and place, chatted with me and the kids and advised them of some of the rules. He brought bottled waters and some additional ice for them to place their soft drinks. Knowing that I was a little concerned, he kept me posted as he dropped off the kids at the restaurant, and also texted me when he was heading back to pick them up. Between my daughter keeping me posted, and the information he provided, I felt very safe, connected, and grateful. He let me know of any change in plans immediately and called me as soon as they were on their way back home. Once again, like clockwork, he arrived back 15 minutes before the designated time to return. Based on feedback from my daughter and every last one of her friends, I can honestly say that it was the absolute best time for these kids, and even 10 days later I still hear them chatting about it. In summary, I could not have been more pleased with the customer service of the owner (and the driver), and my daughter and her friends could not have been more pleased with the events of the night. Then I saw someone mentioned "Let's go" ride service in Nextdoor but no one had tried it. I was willing to give it a try. I called the number and talked to a lady. She took down my flight information and quoted me the price and confirmed the pick up time. Surprisingly, the price is very reasonable and I really hope they would show up. Sure enough, there was a gentleman showed up in front of my house about 5 mins before the pickup time. I didn't expect that the ride is a Tesla Model X which was very clean and nice. They said they use only electric cars. The driver wore a black uniform who seemed very professional. He chatted with me throughout the whole trip. I learned that if you are from UC Davis, they only charge a small fee because the owner understands that students don't have too much money and wants to make it affordable for them. So sweet....they said I am the first customer use this service that is non UCD customer. The fare was still cheaper compared to other shuttle and Uber that I checked. I was even more impressed with the return trip. The driver would text me and check if my trip was delayed . She even made a stop for my bathroom break during the ride. Overall, I am very happy with their ride service. I will definitely use them again.
