Bob worked on my refrigeration system and I couldn't speak more highly of his work. Great advice and an honest person in the boat industry.

Mark and I are certified and experienced sailors but this was our first voyage alone as Captain and first mate. Gdub was always available, responsive, and helpful when we needed him. He helped us with everything from making our sailing plan to clearing seaweed from our prop and even offered some marriage counseling pro-bono ;) It was also our one year wedding anniversary and Spiritwind gave us an amazing experience. The boat was well equipped with we everything we needed, from spare lines to galley supplies. If you want to talk to Gdub about how your boat will be outfitted, give him a call. While he responds to emails promptly, you will get more information from a phone call. We suggest you visit the boat first then go provision (there are several grocery stores nearby). There were lots of leftovers on our boat already. Spend the night on the boat the night before you leave and have dinner at the fish market. The food is amazing.

I spent a week under his training with my husband and we both left feeling ready to sail and bare boat charter with confidence. The problem solving experience and hands on training we received was second to none. It was a challenging course and we both studied really hard for the exam, but GW was so great at getting us prepared that we passed with very high marks. The experience was a great confidence booster in more ways than one. This was one of the most memorable and exciting weeks I have spent in a very long time and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from GW.

They were understanding, a Appoinment was made promptly.. Bob and Marley showed up, a fast diagnoses.. What I was pretty sure it was. (My alternator) He fixed it fast and only charged for the time it took him to do it. The usual hourly estimate for this job is three hours. But he said he could probably could get it done in two. And he did.. And only charged me for that. They were honest, upfront and professional. If I would have went to them in the first place, I would have saved myself so much hassle. They came to my house, and even gave me a ride to the library and dropped me off at the pool since they had to leave and go get a part for my car anyhow. So I relaxed pool side, and by the time I got home. My car was fixed.... A++++ for these guys. I would recommend them to anyone.

Their pricing was incredibly reasonable and their service was perfect. So happy to know that there are honest mechanics here in Marathon!

My company, PrestoRestoration.com , specializes in painting and restoring building exteriors, so I'm very particular about workmanship and attention to detail -- and I made that clear to Rodney from the start. From beginning to end, Rodney and his team were professional, communicative, and meticulous. The quality of their work was outstanding, and honestly, I'm not sure I could have done it better myself. Rodney even recommended a product and color-matched a grey that perfectly complements my hull. The end result exceeded my expectations -- the boat looks even better than before. Their pricing was fair, and I really appreciated the detailed breakdown of materials and supplies used. I highly recommend Marathon Boat Yard to anyone needing quality boat work done. Thank you, Rodney, and the entire Marathon Boat Yard team, for a job exceptionally well done. My boat looks fantastic!

We were surprised at how accommodating they were to our needs and the staff were very friendly. They found a great place for us to dock and were very helpful with their local knowledge. The marine basin is clean and well protected, a little unnerving to pull into with a 26 foot beam catamaran, but it is easier than it looks. We even saw a baby manatee that stayed around for hours. West Marine is right next door and Publix is 1.5 miles down the road, with several good restaurants nearby. The pricing is quite reasonable. We highly recommend them and would come again if boat repairs are needed.
