What's more Mr Bergstrom is the artist for the new or old generation and for this millennium... so make sure and bring the children along!... His collections run the gamut from originals, scenic, places traveled including Italy, Thailand and more, portraits, and contemporary with his "mark" most definitely stamped on all of his work... passion and romanticism is exuded in all of his work... You will find the perfect gift for yourself, your friends, family, corporations, hotels, restaurants, and for your home... Paintings that all will love forever and always... How very special to find such talent, wrapped into such an awesome person and experience this 30+ year veteran artist possesses right here in my hometown! Looking forward to seeing his "Latest Works" and "signing up" for one of his Art Classes! It is an honor to write my thoughts and review this wonderful Artist, giving him the kudos and recognition he deserves! I not only submit my vote for all who are interested in fine art to visit this icon, I would also tell those who don't "stop in" you are missing Portland's finest... Sincerely, Collector

He verified that our friend's show was still going to be up (we were visiting on the show's final day). Well, do you like black and white photography? Then this is the gallery for you! It's clear as soon as you step in the door how dedicated LightBox is to excellence. It is quiet like a church and gives off a completely "serene" vibe. You feel like you can take all the time you want to look at each piece. No one is going to hurry you or disturb you. When Michael noticed how interested we were he gave us an impromptu viewing of some of the additionally exciting work in the flat file upstairs. Just a completely first-rate experience.

I asked him if he had photos proving it was good, which he dodged and closely explained it was amazing, then I asked again which he laughed and said no. I'm not going to buy 50$+ dollars worth of expired film with no proof it's good. Plus, when asked why he doesn't actually sell film he went on a rant why film has gone up and he refuses to sell it which I thought was odd as he advertises it and if sold he technically wouldn't be loosing money. I then asked where I could get it and he said no where and he doubted stores would have it on this part of the coast. I called Walgreens and Walmart nearby who both carried it, which I drove 7 mins down the road and picked up. It was 12$. It disappointed me I couldn't just pick up at the only camera store in Astoria. Weird hill to die on that he wouldn't carry something that's advertised ON HIS SIGN. Dude had hovering energy and followed me out the store ranting.

A delicate opal and garnet ring for my granddaughter, and amazing sapphire ring for my other granddaughter, earrings for both and even a large diamond for myself. The prices are amazing - I have taken every piece to my local jeweler who has said - "next time buy me something." His appraisals are much higher than the price I have paid for any of the beautiful pieces of jewelry from Jonathon's. Charlie and his granddaughter are delightful to work with. I always hate to give such a glowing review - last time most of his latest merchandise was gone before I even got there! I have been wearing this ring since I got it about two weeks ago. Its gorgeous. Will be back next time we are in town.
