We saw some cute shirts from the window and decided to go in and check them out. This very, very old lady kept appearing literally a foot away from my daughter and I as we were trying to shop and would just stare and watch us. Never asked us if she could help us. I was so uncomfortable with her being on top of us, that I told my daughter to put back the $50 sweatshirt I was going to buy her. I mean, I was wearing a $200 North Face Jacket, my $175 Hooka shoes, and $400 coach purse. But this lady treated me as if I walked into her store with a trash bag on. I would advise to stay away far away from this store.

The store is filled with treasures; think clothes, hats, stickers and greeting cards (but there's much more!). Every coastal town has the obligatory shop(s) filled with all things beachy - shells, mermaids, sea…read moreturtles, starfish, signs with slogans, lighthouses - but few rise above the level of cheap & tacky. Shorelines NW manages to be a touristy shop while providing a much better customer experience. The store is very large and well lit, the aisles are wide so you can wander and linger without feeling like you are stuck in an elevator with tons of people. Items are organized so if you aren't interested in children's toys you don't even have to walk to that area of the store. Interested in shells? Against the side wall are bins filled with shells of various shapes, types and colors. There is plenty of room to take it all in and make your selections. My grandmother always collected small shells and made jewelry with them so I spent a lot of time in this area and was happy to have the section all to myself! Of course they have the obligatory tie-dye which somehow has become synonymous with the beach, but their offerings were a step above other tie dye sweatshirts I've seen. The light blue & white was particularly nice, subtle, not too in your face. Mermaids and the beach also go hand & hand and at Shoreline, there are Mermaids of every skin tone and hair color so little girls can see themselves. Well done! They have a nice selection of affordable fashion jewelry, some in sterling, and of course many feature shells, sand dollars, flip-flops and other beachy items. Even though I'm not a tourist, I enjoy walking through the shop and looking at all of the offerings, often making a purchase.

The price of the shoes $20, nice music and lots to look at, kind folks that work there great service. The soles come out and the are like crocs but soo much cheaper. We have favorite stores to go to, when coming and gotta visit fun land, arcade, fultanos pizza, dundees for amazing gluten free clam chowder lots of big clams, Tiptons for decor and ornaments!! Get gelato or ice cream by the tiki bar, yummy drinks.

My friend found some of the sweatshirts to be especially attractive. I noted they also have pajama bottoms. I'm personally not someone who likes to get clothes with a place on them unless they are very unusual in design and I also favor v-neck t-shirts which are SO HARD to find. I also favor very soft t-shirts and the clearance rack here, for instance, was all Gildan basic tee's + designs. They also have tank tops along the same lines.

My friend and I were helped by a really great lady. He found a statue of a fairy that he had to have, and they wrapped it up carefully for him. I found a ring I liked but they didn't have my size. I'll come back and look around again the next time I'm at Seaside.

This shop has a great aesthetic, clearly relating to their coastal location, but also modern and clean enough to be right at home on any of the main shopping drags back in Portland. It has a varied inventory, and I found myself impressed with some of the art, a number of gorgeous reclaimed-wood serving platters, and great fragrances (both in candles and sprays). They had a nice selection of plants, and for the holidays were selling some really lovely wreaths. I highly recommend giving this shop a browse. And let's not forget Gus, the shop dog. I was a dummy and forgot to snap a pic. But let me tell you this, he's a VERY good boy.

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the jewelry and the customer service I…read morereceived. My assistant and I visited this store in February 2026 and purchased two amethyst rings, one was approximately $57, and the other was over $70. Given the store's reputation, we believed we were purchasing quality stones set securely in sterling silver. Unfortunately, the stone fell out of my ring within the second month of owning it. Because I do not live in Seaside, I was unable to return until August. When I explained what had happened, I was immediately asked for a receipt. Their receipts are handwritten and do not include the customer's name or email address, so there was no modern purchase record for them to reference. Even though the employee appeared to recognize the ring as their own style of jewelry, I was firmly told that anything occurring after 30 days is considered "wear and tear." There was no offer to inspect the setting, repair the ring, provide store credit, or even extend a modest discount toward a comparable replacement. Instead, I was told, and I quote, "I don't know what to say to you. We're just a retail store." A stone falling out after only a month or two does not reflect the durability or craftsmanship I reasonably expected at this price point. What disappointed me most was the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which my concern was handled. A reputable business should stand behind the quality of the merchandise it sells, or, at the very least, make a sincere effort to find a reasonable solution for a dissatisfied customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing rings here if you expect secure stone settings, lasting quality, or meaningful customer service after 30 days.
