This place is basically a non corporate, locals run mall. Each vendor gets there own space and sells whatever they make or come across. The selection is pretty cool and diverse. It's a welcome relief from the cookie cutter Carlsbad malls that look like every other mall you've ever been to in America. Pros: Really cool place to find unique items. Non corporate, the whole place is run by locals. The place is huge. Don't judge it by the store front. It goes back a long way. Cons: Some of the booths just sell really old looking antiques which aren't my thing. It can get hot in some parts of the place. Need better air circulation. Really random part of Oceanside, most people would never head to normally. read more

I love this store. I never ever visit without finding a treasure (sometimes a lot of treasure!) As a vintage dealer I appreciate that I can find lots of really cool items to use for display or to resell, and the selection across product categories is wonderful. This isn't your grandma's antique store! While there is a large selection of true antiques, the majority of the store is dedicated to vintage, handmade, and imported goods. My favorites to shop are the vintage clothing dealers and the record store, and I DIE at the selection of turquoise and sterling silver and incredible estate jewelry. The prices range a lot- you can find total deals, absolute splurges, and everything in between. There's truly something for everyone here, and it's the perfect place to find unusual gifts (and the gift card selection is really fun!) grab a coffee outside and plan to spend a few hours. It's a good spot to bring out of town guests when you need to kill some time and just want to look at treasure. They also host a monthly car show and outdoor market. read more

My husband and I heard about a new vintage store opening up on Oceanside so we decided to make it a day trip from San Diego to check out this store. There is a lot of cute items here, a lot of different vendors and unique vintage one of a kind items. I stopped in on opening day. WOW. Not only is it huge (with its own parking lot) but it is extremely well curated. Lots of midcentury modern furniture and accessories, lots of Native American jewelry from several dealers (and the prices were very fair), and a nice selection of vintage clothing. The jewelry is worth the trip alone. A wide variety of high quality vintage and antique gold pieces (not just sterling). I was very impressed with the whole store. It was, of course, a bit chaotic on opening day but even my husband was impressed with everyone who worked there (and really appreciated the hot dog!). I could have spent much more time perusing everything. I will definitely be back and hope they do very well. read more

Sea Hive is the best! I have been coming here for years now and every time I stop by I find a new and unique treasure for my home. The store is huge and They have an extensive vinyl selection. I love that there are so many vendors to choose from, ensuring that you will find something cool and unexpected every time. The employees are always kind and helpful, and to top it all off, they have a mobile Baba coffee cart out front most of the time! read more

This place is way bigger than I was expecting and had so many cool treasures inside. They had something for everyone and I easily could of been inside looking at everything for hours. They had some great handmade items, as well as vintage items, clothing and jewelry/accessories, vinyl records, furniture and home goods, you name it they have it. I went on a Friday and they had a boba truck and a shaved ice truck in the parking lot. The staff were friendly and hyper concerned of the safety of the customers and employees. They had taped the floor for safe walkways, wore masks, and enforced masks for everyone entering, as well as hand sanitizer everywhere. I will definitely be back! read more

Seahive is literally my favorite place to shop in Oceanside. Everytime I go there is something new, unique and different. I can let my feet and mind wander while finding rad vintage treasures. I am never disappointed with the Little Hobo Bird booth as well as the jewelry right inside the front door. After Covid-19 I can't wait to get back to my fave little spot. read more

After the Solona Beach Antique Mall closed earlier this year, my husband and I were bummed out. We antique shop/browse very frequently, and it feels as if stores aren't able to stay open. We came here the very first day it opened, and it made my heart happy to see such an excitement with the community! Not to mention, we saw a LOT of friendly faces from the Solona Beach Antique Mall! I love the way Sea Hive is divided up. They really have something for everyone, and it is shockingly expansive! The location is perfect, and there is a decent amount of parking (a rarity these days haha). They are pup friendly, but just be mindful of them (of course). I took a small stack of their business cards and fliers and have been passing them out to people who are interested. I'm very happy to have an antique warehouse in Oceanside now! read more

I love this place! Jen, the manager and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. I went in to get some mini spice jars for stocking stuffers and walked out with those, a pair of sunglasses and Michael Kohrs boots. The boots were marked $25 and just my size so I walked to ths counter already excited. To my surprise, Tracy informed me that the booth they were in was marked down 30%. Sure enough, she took the time to check for me and they were! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place for anything and everything. I love this place - they have the best and most fabulous items - feels like New York or LA.

Where do I start, first I walk in and no one greets me but that was fine so I start looking around and I see a figurine of blackface, that is not okay. Then this old guy who works there was following me, I don't know if he was attracted to me or he thought I was going to steal something finally 10 minutes later he stops following me, (there were two nice people at least that helped me out, the jewelry lady and the back room guy) so I go to checkout and and the blonde lady with glasses behind the desk never says hi just said "is this it" and I was nice and said yes and she rang me up handed me a receipt to sign and just got on her phone and never said thank you or have a nice day! She was so rude, I'm telling everyone to avoid this place. read more

This is a cool setup- large and great stereo system, vibe, and cool layout with cool products... BUT it is ridiculously overpriced-the whole store. I cannot believe the nerve to charge the prices this place does. I have been to my local goodwills and thrift shops and see the same clothing and better for over half the price. I am not sure if there is a high need to pay the rent on the building so prices are outrageous or what but I won't be back. read more

Geez it's crazy how f up it is to be discriminated against. The minute I walked in I got some weird vibe from the dude "Sergio". This man gave us hand sanitizer with a spray bottle lol it was funny but I just kept minding my own business with my friend. I ended up noticing him following us around and (some) other staff staring at us the entire time. 20 minutes in the store checking everything around we ended up leaving and the funny guy Sergio was..you guessed it right behind us taking pictures of my car. So I returned..and once I walked in he was checking out his phone with a freaking (MAGNIFYING GLASS) lol me guessing he was looking at the fresh cool plate pics he took. I asked him kindly "did you take pictures of my car?" And said "no" But I smelled some bs in that so I asked him "what are you looking at then?" Funny guy Sergio said "I don't have to show you my phone cause it's private". I honestly loved this place always recommended it to people who would love some vintage stuff but now i feel shattered up with the way this man and other staff treated us. I'll probably go back for a lamp I've always wanted but we'll see. I doubt they would even care on losing a customer. read more

I was really excited to go here, I found that they really did have a lot of neat things. However, I give it three stars because the staff is constantly swarming the place and make for kind of an uncomfortable experience. You feel like everyone is watching you like a hawk, thinking you're going to steal something. I'm sure the way the place is set up there have been thieves. But it really did make me uncomfortable the way the employees watched every step you took, and one young kid asked us how we were doing every five minutes like he thought we were stealing! Even as I took my toddler to the bathroom I noticed one of the male employees hanging around which made me feel uncomfortable also. I'm sure there are better ways to handle this situation if they're so afraid of people stealing. The one upside was one of the ladies at the front desk was very kind to me when I was checking out, I wish I remembered her name. read more

This shop has vinyl records that are very overpriced. I purchased a record at Seahive for $30.00 then found the same lp at Spin Records in Carlsbad. The condition of the lp at Spin was better than the same at Seahive. read more

walked into the store with a buddy of mine and was followed and watched the entire time we were in there, we decided to leave and we noticed once we were in our car the "manager" was taking photos of our car. we decided to walk back in and questioned him and he told us it was none of our business and to not worry about it. completely disrespectful and rude. they profiled us the entire time we were in there. read more
