If there was the option of going more than just Tue/Sat, I would stop by Coast 101 at least once a week. With such limited hours, it's just difficult to find the time! But seriously, they've got really good stuff. I haven't been super impressed with the furniture yet, but Coast 101 is the PERFECT place to find little knick knacks and home-decorations you didn't know you needed until you went there. Inexpensive tools, outdoor pots, kitchen ware, and books (just to name a few categories). Check their website for estate sales around the area too. Sometimes they're a waste of time, but I tend to love going even when I leave empty handed. read more

Response to Ann's comment regarding my negative review of her and her business... Her statement of "someone we never conducted business with" is an outright lie! I met her several times at the property and after meeting with Ann and one of her competitors, I engaged Ann and her company to do the liquidation. Her company was on-site several times after the date that I hired them. Also, her comment that I was "going through a tough time" is laughable. My ONLY tough time was in dealing with her and her shady operation. As a seasoned businessman, I would NEVER treat my customers like she did and I would NEVER recommend her business to anyone. read more

I am highly upset with the false advertising of this estate sale. I came across a regionally featured estate sale 3 hours away from where I lived with exactly what I was shopping for in their sale gallery. They showcased 4 different pictures with an overwhelming amount of vintage Barbies and Barbie accessories! Based on the images featured for this 2 day sale, it seemed more then worth the trip for a Barbie collector like myself. I showed up on the first day of the sale at opening, bags ready, ready to leave with an epic haul. To my dismay, immediately upon entering I see a small table with about 20-30 barbies on display. I thought, surely this can't be all? This is not even a third of what was posted online??? So I ask, and the lady maintaining the table said "she didn't bring anything else". I explained to her that I had just drove 3 hours to get there specifically JUST to buy from that collection and there were previews of an immense collection posted online of what would be featured at this sale. She said "oh that's just a general picture of the collection". Well! That's wonderful news, but when representing an estate sale, yard sale, rummage sale, you should post pics of what will actually BE AVAILABLE TO BUY! A 6 hour total commute yesterday and an awful outcome. Poor communication and misleading pictures of what would be showcased at this sale. I will not be back or suggest to anyone. read more

This was my very first trip. I found them on facebook while they were promoting their monthly two day event. I am an antique store junkie and have come to find that antique linens, furniture, dishware, and odds and ends are my style. I am so happy that I started my day out joining all the wonderful people here. The hours are odd but its worth the trip when they are open! There are a few booths (I think about 6?) and the rest is stuff of the owners or workers picked up for estate sales. There is furniture, appliances, jewlery, purses, linens, vintage posters (up top on the wall to the right by they entrance), glassware, dish sets, kitchen stuff, boxes, photos, frames, toys, etc. All new and old and most at a wonderful price! I picked up a bunch of vintage linens and table cloths/napkins(like 12 items big and small), a pant stand or side table, an old camera bag purse (designer), two vintage posters, some vintage boxes/suitcases, and a vintage coin purse all for under $100! The ladies who work here are so helpful and very friendly. There is a young man who helps you get boxes and bags to pack your stuff and also helps you take it to your car. It's clean, well organized, and wonderful! read more

This is one of my favorite places to treasure hunt! It's a magical mix of the decades. Full of household, garden and personal items. Inventory changes constantly so if you see something you love... Grab it! Pricing of these treasures are so reasonable. Open to public in Tuesday's and Saturdays. People who work here are awesome! If you're anywhere near here make it a point to get here. Hired Ann and her crew to do an Estate Sale for parents who moved into an assisted living facility. Explained the whole process and how the sale would be handled. They came into a home that had been lived in for over 40 yrs and went through it all and set the whole house up like a store. After the sale they cleaned out the house and arranged for DAV to pick up remaining items (which is what we wanted.) Ann was very easy to work with and reassuring through the whole process. This review is about Ann. She was managing an estate sale in Carlsbad. I inquired of a twin sz mattress an explained to a gentleman that I ONLY needed the mattress (not the box spring), he came back and said 75 I said deal! So I went to go get my vehicle to pull up in the driveway as instructed. When I came back the gentleman had brought out the box spring as well as the mattress and I said oh no no we don't need the box spring and he replied I know, I know but she said it's a package deal. I said who said that and he said Ann. She was near and over heard and yelled back you "have" to take it as she was walking away to the home w another customer and I said oh but I can't, I live in an apartment complex and am not allowed to dispose of there and she threw her arms up in the air and started to yell (in front of all the customers) "what do you think I should deal w it, would you want littering in front of your yard..on and on she went". Mind you this was yelling at me from across the yard, in front of all the customers and there were a lot.she didn't have the professionalism to come speak to me, and even looked as though she was enjoying the attention, she had made a scene. The gentleman helping me rolled his eyes and said she's just a little overwhelmed here- as if I should have sympathy on her! She clearly isn't fit to run/manage estate sales. I never haggled the price and even over paid for two items instead of the one. No receipt was ever given to me (which should be automatic since sales tax was included) I asked the cashier to speak to the manager or owner and she replied "that was her". I feel sorry for the volunteers/workers. This happened over three hours ago and I'm still shaky. I was totally an innocent by stander at her disposal to take advantage of her need for "that kind" of attention. read more
