Payed for xray making sure lungs were clear was to good to go. Thursday and Friday began to notice a dark discharge from right nostril , I kept doing the saline drops by Saturday the dark discharge was now on her left nostril , Sunday she stop eating , Was planning to take her in on monday. She did not make it. They mention an antibiotic at first and change to the saline . Just wondering if they had been more agg with the discharge they brought to my attention during the ck up. They chose to error On the side of caution, if I remember correctly she said it was sinus drainage. I canceled all of my future appointment's .

I went to pick up my Barnabus and it took 2 hours to get him. I guess they were trying to make sure he was coming out of the anesthesia. He was so out of it when they Loaded him in the car. took him home, got him settled and as comfy as I could. he died to hours later. he stopped breathing. I'm devasted. when they called after his passing the was no sympathy. then they asked if I had keep his body in the fridge so they could do an autopsy. you are kidding me right!!! i have had two pets die in two weeks that were in their care. please please dont take your pets here. They killed my handsome boy barnabus!!

I brought my brother's cockatiel to get its nails and beak trimmed. They took the bird out of the…read moreroom and returned shortly there after.. the young girl brought the bird back and very quickly said " here it is bye". I remember thinking that she didn't handle herself very well. I wrote it off as being young and inexperienced. Thinking back on it now, I remember making a comment to her "oh my goodness her nostrils are red. She must be very upset." After googling it, I now realize that is a sign of injury. Well, they cut the birds nails back way too far. We've been told last time that you had to be careful not to go into the pink part of the nail. They went all the way back. We paid the bill and didn't notice anything until we got home. I'm sure they put something on it to stop the bleeding but when we wrestled her out of the small cage, it probably fell off and that's why the bleeding started. Little Liz was bleeding terribly. That's when we noticed that they cut the nails too far back. They better hope the bird is OK. Obviously they're letting people that are untrained do things they shouldn't be doing. This is my second bad experience in two visits. I wouldn't trust these people with a frog. Sometimes accidents happen and of course, birds probably move when you're trying to clip their nails. I get that but be transparent if you make a mistake instead of trying to hide it. I'm reading Online how they can bleed out very quickly. How come when I called the office They acted like it was no big deal? They didn't tell me how important it was to make the bleeding stop. I'm so angry. I'm reading scary things online now and I'm 45 minutes away...and it's almost midnight... now I won't sleep. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

I made an appointment for a heartworm test for my 13 yr old, 77 lb Alaskan Malamute Max. When I…read morearrived there was the vet and 2 techs in the exam room. I explained what I needed and that I have been having some anxiety issues with him. We had had a problematic vet visit in the past but usually Max was cooperative and had never ever exhibited any aggressive behavior. They assured me they understood and asked me to wait in the waiting room as dogs often did better without their owners present. I hesitated but agreed but stated clearly that if he exhibited any anxiety or became anxious I did not want the test done. I went to the waiting room but after about 5 min I became concerned so I stepped around the corner to look into the exam rooms glass door. What I saw put me into an immediate panic. They had my dog on the floor with both techs holding him down and an anti bite muzzle on him. He was struggling and he was terrified. I could not believe it. The receptionist was standing at her podium and I told her I wanted the visit terminated immediately. When they saw me they let Max up and removed the muzzle. By then I had entered the room and grabbed his leash and we were out that door. I don't remember the last time I was so angry. These pet healthcare professionals completely disregarded my instructions, placed a restraint on my dog without informing me of their intent and completely traumatized a dog who already had anxiety which they were very aware of. I will NEVER go to a Vetco agin.
