Visiting Florida from Phoenix AZ we went into full tourist mode and signed up to do an airboat tour. How fun!! Captain Mike was energetic and fun. The water was beautiful and the sun was out and hot!! We saw a few alligators and turtles. There is good music pumped into your headphones along with fun stories about what you are seeing. We paid for it on a Friday for Saturday's trip, we got a text Saturday a few hours before that it had been moved to Sunday, okay no problem. Get there 15 minutes early on Sunday like it says to, didn't know where to go so we called and they said it was cancelled but we were never informed before. read more

NEED TO READ THE FINE PRINT!! Need to meet a minimum of 14 people to even be able to go on a tour. Booked 2 tickets never was able to go on a tour during my trip to Jacksonville and don't expect a refund. Website is misleading, gives you reservation dates and times, but in my opinion is pointless cause you'll never get those dates and times unless you meet the minimum 14 people. In my opinion I hope he develops a better reservation system to help improve customer experience so those people making a reservation can see what to expect of the book on a given day. read more

Our party of four took the 1.5 hour airboat ride on the St Johns River. Captain Mike did a great job providing historical color to the beautiful river scenery. The airboat looks brand new and is in top notch condition. The tour utilizes a headset for each passenger which doubles as a noise blocker for the 600hp V8 and also serves to provide recorded historic commentary and very good swampy-bayou music. We saw several large alligators on our trip and Captain Mike gets you pretty close to them before they dive into the water. Lots of water birds and turtles also found along the river bank. An easy 30 minute drive from the heart of St Augustine and well worth the trip. read more

If you want to see nature and experience an airboat ride, this is the place to go. Capt Mike is great!. He had so many stories interesting stories to share with us. This was a "bucket list" event for me and my husband and a friend also shared this event. We went on a hot day (for March 30,2017) and booked the afternoon tour. We did see sunning turtles, garfish, some nesting herons, small alligators and an osprey high in the trees. My husband wants to go again and rent the water bicycle things. Captain Becca gave us a fabulous tour of the swamp. We flew down the river and then slowed down to explore the creeks. We saw numerous alligators and turtles, plus blue herons, water moccasins and other snakes. Captain Becca was very knowledgable, telling us about plants, animals and other info about the swamp, and she was expert at piloting the boat up close for the best views. It was definitely worth the drive from St. Augustine, and we'll come back again when we're back in town. Book online, and plan to arrive early to fill out the paperwork and go to the bathroom. We live here but we're looking for something fun to do on Spring Break. We made a good choice. Our captain made the ride fun and educational. We toured out to the entrance of Mayport and back in the tall marsh grasses of the Intracoastal. He also GUARANTEED that we would see dolphins and he delivered! Unfortunately we went on a day with some wind and it ruined the whole trip. The only thing we saw was a couple birds. We didn't go out in the ocean, just stayed in the bay. Captain Josh and First mate Chris were great. Capt guaranteed everyone would catch a shark or other type fish. The guarantee is that a shark will be caught, not that you will fish or catch it. There was no fishing. Only 2 of 6 got to reel in a shark. The crew fished, set the hook, then passed the pole to the 2 to reel it in and the crew got it in the boat for pictures before it was released. The other 4 got to watch those 2 have a great time reeling in a shark. We believed we would be fishing and catching one too. With the last bite of the night 3 took a few minutes to feel how the fight would have felt. The weather was great, the captain was very safety oriented and handled his boat well. Safe for all ages. It was just disappointing for us. We paid over $300 cash to fish and catch a shark but instead it was a nice boat trip along Mayport's shore line . We were happy for the 2 that got to reel in a shark. We also saw dolphins large cargo ships and a view of Mayport naval base. read more

I've been wanting to ride an airboat since I saw The Waterboy as a teen and since I was spending time in Jacksonville I decided it was finally time. After days of research finally saw this company. My experience with this company definitely surpassed my expectations! Reservations were easy to make online! I took my daughter on a 2 hour airboat tour! It was my Mother's Day Present! Captain Mike was awesome! He took us to beautiful places! We saw alligators, birds, and nature that I never thought I would be able to see on water! He kept us safe, and comfortable! We saw a baby alligator that was so cute! Then we saw this big 10 foot alligator in the water! We saw manatees! We sat in this cool area to watch the sunset! Staff was very friendly!
