The house specialty is Chinese hot-pot (fondue Chinoise). My partner and I had the Szechuan soup, shrimp dumplings, vegetable spring roll, sweet and sour chicken, and beef in black bean sauce. Taste is authentic for sure, my only "beef" was with the beef, which was over tenderized and not of high quality meat. The restaurant also carries Mövenpick ice cream selections, which is a nice little bonus if you're a Mövenpick fan like myself. The server is friendly and accommodating. We received our orders in a reasonable amount of time with several other tables of patrons. Typical of Chinese restaurants there's a large flat screen with Chinese karaoke music videos playing in very low volume. Old-school artists as Teresa Deng and Jacky Cheng plays on loop in the background. Made me feel very nostalgic. I will probably come back to this restaurant again to try the hotpot, and to listen to those 80's Chinese songs with my meal. :)

We decided to share the Tibetan dumplings called Momos. We selected chicken as the filling. You get a choice of preparation. We decided to get them fried instead of steamed. It wasn't too long of a wait. We received 10 hot & crispy momos with soy sauce and their signature Tenz chili sauce. They were absolutely delicious! It was my first time trying them. Yes, very much like fried gyoza but thicker and bigger. I ended up eating 4 since I needed to save room for the burger next door. My husband gladly ate the rest if them. He loved the chili sauce! As far as ambiance goes... it's a train station. I mean, it's the hustle & bustle of people on their way home from work. It's the perfect location for takeaway orders. It's convenient for tourists after a long day of touring who want a quick bite to eat. There are vegan options as well as hot sandwiches, soup, and XL dumplings. This Tenz location appears to be very popular. Especially for those who don't feel like cooking. I would definitely revisit this one for the quality and service. Highly recommended!

Momos are dumplings that originated in Tibet and brought to Nepal by Tibetans. I was surprised to find momos in Switzerland. So, I had to try this place. They have chicken, beef, veggie, and vegan momos. You can get them steamed or fried. You can get 8, 10 or 12 pieces. Momos are pretty big and heavy so, I only got 8. I still have dinner in a few hours. They have sauces like curry, chili sauce, soy sauce, yogurt, spicy mayo, cheesy cocktail and tandoori. I went with the beef Momo - fried with soy sauce, and chili sauce. Piping hot and tasty. They don't need sauce but the sauce accentuates the flavor. The homemade green tea lemon iced tea was super good and refreshing. They have tables a few feet away from the order counter. People who ordered from other stalls were eating their food here. No chairs.

I've had plenty of chicken in Thai food here in Switzerland, and this one tops them all. The flavor was great, the chicken was savory, and went well with the rice. The noodles were good too, of course. And the chili that they offered was legit and quite spicy. My colleague had the green curry (which I tend to avoid because green is usually spicier than most) and she definitely confirmed it was spicy, but she finished all of it anyway. The iced tea was good too and had a minty kick to it. The service, by the way, was impeccable and the guy and his wife who owned the place were super friendly, and even offered us fruit for dessert - it was a pity we were in a rush, but I'd definitely be up for coming back sometime!

For an expensive "fine dining" spot, this place does not deliver. Avoid at all costs! Let's begin with the location and our waiter, Alfred. It's a "non-smoking" hotel, but is reminiscent of the 80s in the US when they placed smokers right next to the "non-smoking section." There is a smoker's lounge on the first floor of the hotel, which makes the entire floor reek like an ashtray (think casino!). There are dozens of guests smoking just outside the doors, including the restaurant, which pumps even more cigarette smoke into first floor and the dining room! Disgusting way to eat, none of the food or wine tastes right in a smoke-laced room. The hotel allows a minority of guests to ruin the restaurant for most diners. Alfred, a smoker, greeted us reeking of smoke... 1/2 a table away, it was nauseating! Which also likely explains his prolonged absences from our table, outside on a smoking break! Service abominable... it took 90 minute after we finished our entrees to get dessert and the check. The host serviced most tables around us, one diner simply got up and left. Let's mention food. Asparagus soup was good, as was the house salad. The risotto was very undercooked, which was one whole dish plus side at our table. The veal saltimbocca was cooked well, but quite salty. The red wine was served room temperature, obviously not cared for in a climate controlled atmosphere! Ice cream for dessert was mediocre, the chocolate ice cream tasted freezer burned, and was only 1/2 a scoop. The restaurant could be great. But, management has to step up and deliver the "smoke free" hotel promised in all its advertising. If you're a smoker, this place is for you. For non-smokers, the hotel and restaurant fails miserably. We're here several more days, but definitely will not dine at this place again! The other staff member proceeded to take other customers behind me while I stood in line on the left as if I didn't exist. Food was decent though - the sandwich hit the spot.
