Rina has been my on-site property manager and handywoman for over 3 years now, plus she manages the housekeeper. I consider her my partner, and I know she is critical to my successful rental business. I truly couldn't do it without her. Rina is completely reliable, an excellent communicator, and fairly priced. She ensures my condo is always immaculately clean and ready for incoming guests, plus she's available to them 24/7, so if any problem does happen during their stay, she comes over and takes care of it immediately. This gives me great peace of mind. She's also happy to answer questions and give recommendations. All my guests love her! In addition, she does weekly interior and exterior inspections to find and fix anything that needs it before it becomes a bigger issue. She also does seasonal clean-ups as well as Costco runs for household supplies and new towels and sheets when needed. She has completed countless handywoman jobs for me over the years, including fixing items that are broken as well as making upgrades to my condo (for example, she installed new toilets, new fans, and a Nest thermostat, hung TVs on the walls, dealt with Comcast issues, repaired and installed faucets and showerheads, got rid of wasp nests under the deck, and so much more). She's amazing! I trust Rina's judgement and expertise completely. Hiring her is the best investment in your vacation rental you'll ever make!

    I've owned a townhome managed by PMA for three years. Each of those three years I've reported a…read moreroof leak and they've reported it fixed. The leak results in damage to the inside of my home's ceiling every year. I reported it again this year. It has been six weeks and still is not fixed even after having a contractor look at it. They blame the contractor's availability. I've asked them to fix an issue with a gutter in the front of my home--they made about the kind of effort that a high school kid would have if hired to take care of it. it still leaks. All the garage doors in my units vary in shades of paint and stucco is unkept on the sides of the buildings. I reported a sprinkler billowing water into the air and weeks went by before it was actually fixed. Attempting to get approval to put in a hot tub was like chasing my tail until the hot tub that was available is no longer, so I'll wait six more months until I can get another one. There's constant turnover, they take days to get back to you. I'm honestly ready to move my entire house just to never have to deal with a property management company ever again.

The dishwasher was broken upon arrival, which they didn't tell us until we arrived to the property and did not offer to put us in a fully functioning property. That was not the biggest issue though - the BIGGEST problem with this property was actually gaining access to the condo itself. That's right, on more than one occasion ina single day, we could not physically get into the room due to a problem with the lock. The door to our unit had a malfunctioning electronic lock, that would not open despite entering the correct codes, including even the property manager code. When calling building management for the first time, it took them about 30 min to show up, after not believing us that we were entering the correct code they had provided. Property management tried every attempt to troubleshoot the problem remotely before sending an actual human being to assist. Had we left it there, we'd probably be at 3 stars. HOWEVER, the problem with the door only continued!!! On the second instance (same day) it was 9pm at night and my family was left to stay in the hallway (see photo) while waiting for an offsite person to travel to the property and let us in with a physical metal key. It's an absolute disgrace that this company would leave paying guests locked out of access to the property. When speaking to the mechanic staff, they acknowledged the electronic device issue, and suggested it was our fault for monkeying with the lock on the inside of the unit. Can you believe this?!?! Thank you for ruining our family weekend on several fronts, we won't be back.

James and Dan arrived as scheduled and were very friendly and professional. My husband and I were there for the inspection and they took the time to explain various items being inspected and help us understand everything. They were very thorough and provided us with an in-depth report detailing everything about the property. They spoke with our realtor and discussed the items that would require the most attention. Despite the home's age, James and Dan assured us that it's a strong and well-built home, which thrilled us, as we love historic buildings. James suggested easy fixes to some minor problems. Most importantly, James did some research after our inspection was completed and paid for, consulting with experts on old homes to ensure that he'd given us all the information we needed, and following up with my husband to pass on the information he learned about the safety and structure of the home. My husband had further questions about what James had learned from the expert, and James was responsive within a day, answering my husband's questions, even three days after the inspection was completed. It really felt like James and his team cared about us as clients and wanted us to be confident in the service they provided. We are now extremely confident that our new home is safe and well-built and are so appreciative of the extra care and attention James took to consult with someone else about the foundations of old homes. I highly recommend HomeTech and could not be happier with our home inspection experience.
