This law firm is an immense waste of time, I have legal help paid for by my company and this is one of the firms "apart" of the program. They refused to take my VERY simply paperwork-divorce request because the ARAG program apparently doesn't offer proper compensation for them? Makes absolutely ZERO sense. Anyways, I've copied/pasted what the office emailed me, hopefully this helps from wasting more people's valuable time!- "After careful consideration, we have decided not to move forward with ARAG. While we did evaluate the collaboration, the difference in fees ultimately does not align with our firm's approach or the level of service we believe is necessary for completion of a divorce in California. When you look at the complexity required to process a divorce, even a simple one like yours, the level of service required far exceeds the fee ARAG offers." read more

I saw a lawyer from this firm mistake opposing counsel for her client, launch into a monologue telling him their whole plan for the hearing, only for the man to say at the end that he represented the opposing party. It was embarrassing and I can't imagine paying someone this clueless such a high hourly rate. read more

Seabrook Law Offices, At this point, it feels like your firm is punishing me--sending me one false charge after another for mistakes that never should have happened had Gabriella and Pamela done their jobs with even basic diligence. I asked for help repeatedly. I pleaded. And instead of help, I received silence... and now bills. This isn't just negligence anymore. It's cruel. Paul, I sat across from you, vulnerable and terrified, and you looked me in the eyes and told me I was safe. You told me I had the right people behind me. You handed your phone to my daughter to watch Ice Age so we could keep talking. You knew I was desperate. I scraped together the money that very afternoon because I believed in you. I believed you would protect us. Gabriella, you shared your stories with me. I truly thought you understood. I thought you would stand with me through the worst of it. Instead, the moment things got hard with my husband, you gave up on me, on my case, on my daughter. Pamela, you and I agreed: If I could pay $2,000 per month, I'd remain in good standing. But I paid $4,800, and still, you walked away. You left me hanging--withheld my files for a full month, even after I begged again and again and again. You both saw the videos and you read the accounts of my husband's abuses. You saw me fall apart in your office, terrified that I would lose my three-year-old child. And still, I'm not just fighting him... Now I'm fighting you. The microcharges you keep sending me feel less like clerical errors and more like punishment. Retaliation. Some twisted reminder that I'm alone in this. You called me, said you wanted to make it right, but nothing happened. No correction, no closure. Just another bill. There was absolutely nothing positive about this experience, that's before you even get to the divorce part. If I could go back, I would hire a divorce coach before I hired an attorney, I would question claims of expertise about narcissism, and I would push my ex spouse a whole lot harder to hire a mediator. In particular, I felt the paralegal they have nicknamed the bulldog did me disservice by pressuring me to accept my minimum at the settlement cinference and that there was absolutely no effort ti get more than that. During the divorce process, I was mostly too overwrought to watch my bill closely. Even though I fought for and ended up with a small and inadequate refund, I found overcharging and charges for mistakes they made after I came up for air. I asked repeatedly, but never felt like there was a solid strategy that addressed my needs. I spent a huge amount of money up front, trying to get clear on how to prepare the paperwork that I was surprised to find the law firm didn't do for me. They held my feet to the fire about getting it exactly right, and then when my ex spouse sloughed it off, let him get away with it. I guess the bottom line for me is that I didn't feel like they fought for me to get any more than I would've gotten without them, and that they were very aggressive -- possibly even avaricious -- in their billing practice. I felt that I was really milked in the beginning when I had no idea what was what was going on and spent most of my money on the preliminary paperwork, and when it was time to go to court, there was no money left. I think I should've had much better guidance and could've found it someplace else. read more

Like many others with bad experiences with this law firm, I was made some big promises. I forewarned them of the complex nature and high conflict in my custody case with the emotional/psychological and physical abuse that took place. When I reached out for help, Gabriella essentially ghosted me. It's been 3 months since I last heard from her and she never had the decency to just answer an email. It's so disappointing, especially after she sold herself to me by claiming to relate and promote herself to be there for my family. Sheep in wolf's clothing is the best way to describe this firm. Like many other women who have come to this firm, I was desperate and gave them my savings of over $15k. I'm left questioning what I have paid for. Absolutely nothing was achieved. What a waste of time and money. I would not refer them to my worst enemy. They lack quality work for their client and seem to be in the field for a money grab. I do not want anyone from the firm to try to contact me here or anyone else. I already read the responses to other people's negative comments. There is nothing the firm can do to make my situation right. I have paid my balance and will take my business elsewhere, just leave me alone. read more

This firm is ridiculous, I went in to speak with the attorney as we were advised and thought when we arrive that we were talking to her but instead the person we spoke to turned out to be the paralegal! We were advised that in order to speak to the attorney that we had to pay $5000 retainer upfront before even getting to speak to the attorney. When asked how we can get a consultation appointment, we were told that we had to pay $450 upfront just for the consultation! This amount we were told would pay for one hour service of consultation. I spent 30 minutes of valuable time wasted thinking I was speaking with the attorney and all along it was the paralegal who could not answer all my questions and was of no help at all. I don't recommend this firm! This firm is very deceiving and they are only after your money. read more

Extremely unhappy with this law firm for my divorce case. In a matter of 8 months I have been charged over $32,000 and am still at the beginning of the process and they haven't done the full discovery yet. So, I don't recommend Mr. Seabrook. As an example how they charge you, whatever email you send them, even if his associates are CC'ed, they all will charge you separately. If you need details about my case, reply to this, I will send you what little amount of work they have done so far for that gigantic amount of charge. read more

I had the worst experience ever with this Law Office. It was my first time ever looking for some professional help and I seen they were highly recommended so I called and set up a free consultation they told me it could be from anywhere 20-40 min. So I said great! I got a call from Tracy and she was very straight forward with me about the money $5,000 retaining fee and that it was $420 an hour after that and I would have to start there before she can talk to me any further. All I got to talk to her was for 9min and she told me again about the money for the retainer fee. I was like it's only been 9 mins and you haven't said anything about my case or any follow up questions didn't seen concern about my case just wanted the money. So she got upset and said they're firm wouldn't be able to help out my case and good luck, then she hung up on me. All because I said it's only been 9min and that I had some more questions. Ridiculous Lawyer office that I ever heard about, spent over 25k for 1 and half hearings , the lawyer Cragie was never available for me in important situations Allso his assistant Maria never report to him what we talk communications with them is terrible !! If I could do 0 stars I would. Through Tracey I was connected with Komal and Marveya. Komal talked a huge game and stated we will get this done within your retainer. I trusted her to get this done. I needed certain things signed by the other party to complete the case, I informed Komal not to trust the other party that they are very deceiving and will do what it takes to not sign and take responsibility. Thats exactly what happened the other party showed up to "sign" and they left without signing everything even though "they signed everything right in front of me" per Komal it was a complete and total inconvenience having to drive back and forth 4 times to pick up my documents. Upon letting her know that those were unsigned she said "ok drop them off ill get it done" the problem is I left the documents there Friday they never left the office and her response came Tuesday. Komal was absolutely clueless. Upon calling her out not just on this but other mistakes she made in breaking confidentiality between me and the other party she started charging me double for every email and call session without my knowledge. Komal charged me $175 to read and respond to an email and charged me 14 times for one document to be filed even though I already had it completed. Upon asking my case manager Tracey about the outrageous bill being $4800 past my retainer she said (paraphrasing) "ya thats correct the emails and calls add up and we often don't notify our clients their retainer has ran out" EVEN THOUGH IT'S IN THEIR CONTRACT TO DO SO. Upon talking to owner Paul Seabrook we had a meeting set up and the same day of the meeting he cancelled for an out of town trip SUPER PROFESSIONAL. I wrote an email detailing everything going and he basically said 'Either pay the balance or finish the case yourself". I put in for substitution of attorney. I requested my documents on March 11th from them so could finish the case my self. I was told they would be mailed out March 16th. On March 21st I was told the USPS mail man had picked them up from the office. March 22nd, 11 days after I requested my forms I had to drive there to pick up my documents in an envelope that had the Law Offices address and my address...THEY NEVER MAILED IT OUT. They were with holding my forms also they were missing things upon my pick up that I had to request. This place is super unprofessional and takes your money. They put me out a great deal and didn't make a dent in my case. Unprofessional and classless business. Im no closer to getting this case completed then when I started. I gave them my money and they did nothing and happily took it while continuing to send me bills and invoices. read more

Elizabeth Vorhees and Craig Darling went to bat for me when my ex was tryin g to abuse me via the court system. This was an unprecedented case and every time the judge did a tentative ruling in my favor my ex doubled down and dragged me some more through court, discovery and even wanting a trial. It was a long battle but I know working with Craig, Elizabeth and Paul I was in good hands. Many times they talked me off the ledge. My ex wasn't paying child support and by the time we had a trial his attorney was begging to be removed from the case due to non payment from my ex!! I was awarded sanctions last week at a very hefty amount and today the child support order came down in my favor. These attorneys were there for me every step of the way. I almost gave up and was just going to throw in the towel but Paul called me and asked me to just hang in there and I was in the right and would win. They all were right!!
