I am happy that I found SeaFit. I was going to Sweat House in HB but wanted to see how other studios taught Pilates and compare the two studios. SeaFit is very clean. The studio is bright and well-maintained, and the sunlight through the windows made the studio feel energetic yet peaceful. The workout is similar to the Sweat House workouts with the SPX Pilates machines and Lagree style, but the instructors definitely made the difference. I have taken classes with Alex and Lexi at SeaFit, and both are amazing. They are very encouraging and positive and push you through the last 10 seconds of the workout. They also challenge you by adding pulses and modifications to make the workout harder or easier. Both were friendly and showed their passion for teaching. I would recommend that you take classes with several instructors as each has her own teaching style. I will cautiously advise on taking classes with Clorie--I must have caught her on a bad day as she had little enthusiasm one morning. She just called out the workout and then waited for the last ten seconds to count us down. She had no cues to remind us to breathe or to watch our alignment. I can't say enough good things. I'm older out of shape and decided to give this a try. Everyone was super helpful and made sure that I was in the correct form. They have several modifications to make sure you work at your level. The amount of classes they have fit everyone's schedule. Great workout! I'm 41 and have a bad back and can't do high impact exercises much and this is a great alternative. It's 40-45 minutes so it's easy to fit in the schedule. Each class is different depending on the teacher so you'll find which class suits you best. My only small complaint, and it's totally because of taste, is the music, which normally really motivates me (or at least distracts me from the pain) and it doesn't here. After your first class you'll have a lot of sore muscles for a few days and there is a learning curve. After 3 months I still have to watch other clients to know what to do. Don't let this discourage you, you'll always be a little sore after but not as much as after the first day and you'll get the hang of it. read more

I love this place! I have been to many other pilates studios, including one owned by a friend so I got one-on-one coaching, but this place is close to work, clean, and has SPX machines- so much gnarlier!! The workout is 45 minutes to the second, they are extremely efficient, and Jessica and Catherine are great co-owners! Extremely professional, understanding, and willing to work with you too. They have some great deals for beginners, which they have extended indefinitely. You will never get a better core workout- don't be afraid to try it, especially if you're planning on having babies soon- I hear that your core rebounds waaaaay better! Seafit makes it a welcoming place to be and workout. Firstly, the interiors are calming and nautical them which I love. Secondly, their studios are clean and up to date with the newer megaformers. The instructors of course amazing and all use unique techniques which not only keeps the works outs challenging, but also refreshing. I love Jennifer. Her energy is insane and doesn't diminish. If you like upbeat and high energy, take her class! But like I said, all the instructors are amazing and passionate in what they do. read more

Best work out!! All the instructors are amazing. Everyone is very helpful, and they make sure that I'm in the correct form. I'm 56 years old and had back surgery over a year and a half ago. I started going to SeaFit after I was finished with my physical therapy. Many of the exercises are like what I did in physical therapy, but in a much more kick butt way. Your fitness level doesn't matter. You can modify the exercises to fit your fitness level and progress as you get stronger. You'll be amazed at how strong your body can be. This is my absolute favorite workout. The instructors are motivating and engaged and more than accommodating if you have injuries/health issues. LOVE SEAFIT! I normally go to their studio in Irvine on my lunch break but had a couple weeks off work and this studio is much closer to my house I bought a 10 day class package to try out this one as well. Its has a Mega Reformer pilates machine which is different than your traditional pilates reformer machine but just as effective if not harder! :) This studio is a bit faster pace and definitely challenges you to push yourself but thats great! Good for all levels you just work at your own pace and as you continue to go to class and get stronger you get to push yourself to do more and things you didn't think you could do from the beginning. I love Pilates and always will its great for toning and lengthen out your body just make sure you have a healthy lifestyle as well and you will get the maximum results! :) read more

I've been attending classes at the Adams location and I'm absolutely loving the workout. I initially sought out a Pilates studio after years of loving bootcamp and spin classes - but not loving the back pain I was having. I have a history of lower back issues and I finally decided I needed to find an activity that would a) help to strengthen my core and b) still give me a killer workout. After getting over the initial sticker shock associated with most Pilates reformer studios I decided to sign up for one month to see how I liked it...and I'm so glad I did. In just two months I'm already starting to feel a difference in my ability and strength. While I'm nowhere near the level of some of the others in the class, I love noticing how I can do certain things I absolutely couldn't do when I first started. I remember feeling like such a beginner in those first classes because I could barely make it through any of the exercises, and now I am able to find ways to challenge myself throughout class. I'm absolutely hooked and making time in my week to attend every day. The monthly price, which is higher than I would typically justify on a gym/workout studio, is 100% worth the price for what I am getting out of the classes. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend SeaFit Pilates to anyone looking for a great reformer class that is quick, fun, and a great workout. read more

Firstly, I'm not one to leave reviews but in this case it's necessary. When I walked into the studio, the instructor Jen was amazing. She greeted my friend and me and immediately asked us if we had any questions. She told us everything we need to know about the reformer and constantly checked on us during class. I've never felt so welcomed into a fitness studio. Secondly, the workout itself is unlike anything I've ever done. I've tried everything from kickboxing, hot yoga, hot pilates, boot camp classes, and this workout was HUMBLING. I highly advise everyone to try it at least once. It may not be for everyone but its amazing. I highly reccomend thIs studio if you're looking for a good pilates like workout, or a workout that challenges you. read more

SeaFit is simply the best!!! I saw a Groupon for Seafit Pilates, and decided to call first to make sure this was Pilates with a reformer. I was informed it was, and so I purchased the Groupon. I had been looking for a pilates studio close to my home in Huntington for some time (I had started doing Pilates in Palm Springs a few years ago, and still do it in PS when I'm able to). I simply love the workout, and my body has never looked better. I love many things about SeaFit Pilates. For one, they put you threw a super efficient workout. In 45 minutes, I complete a workout that could have easily taken me double the time in a traditional gym (where I'd wait & wait to get on the equipment). In addition to being efficient, the workout is intense (I have a hard time pushing myself on machines and tend to get bored, so I never saw great results doing it on my own). A few minutes into a SeaFit class, I am so NOT bored. I am concentrating on my form, enjoying the music, & getting my sweat on!!! Doing the workout in a group setting pushes me to not give up, and I always try to work harder. Watching others do the challenging workouts, lets me know that I CAN DO IT TOO!!! The workout engages my core, focuses on slow contolled movements, and muscle fatigue. I am lengthened & strengthened, and I now finally have the sculpted arms & toned legs I've always wanted. My stomach muscles are showing too!!! I am forever grateful & addicted to Seafit Pilates! A few final points: The instructors at SeaFit are awesome....Top-Notch trainers, who will motivate you & push you to do your personal best! I can hear them right now saying, "YOU GOT THIS". I do classes at least 5 days a week, and I love how each day the workout is different than the one I did the day before. Muscle confussion is so important for seeing results. Also, the studio is very clean & has a cool, beachy vibe. There are cubbies for your stuff, two very clean bathrooms, and a purified water cooler (and you will need this to hydrate before, during, and after)! Finally, I love that they play great music during the workout too...Keeps me pumped!!! I've read that some say it's expensive. It is.....But I believe you get what you pay for. I was introduced to this studio through my mom.The class is 45 minutes long and very effective for a busy schedule. Every single instructor is focused on challenging you individually. I have been going to Seafit for a year now and I can say that it has transformed my body. My main goal in my workout routine is to find something I love and stick with it, Seafit Pilates has gone beyond that expectation. I have tried every workout imaginable including the barre method, pure barre, spinning, Orange theory, Fit Wall, Zumba, and yoga. My favorite combination for a weight loss workout routine is spinning and SEA FIT PILATES. For reference I am 25 years old and I have always been active. I have an ankle injury from a past surgery and I have never had any difficulty with any of the exercises. What sets Sea Fit apart is the workout is custom to your level, while still kicking your butt! What I love about it is the fact that every instructor is so mindful about preventing injury. The teacher seemed bored. It was my first class with this teacher and she never came over to check on me. The teacher taught an exercise on one side but didn't teach it for the other side. I absolutely love SeaFit! Though most of the instructors have varied "styles" they are all wonderful. I've always been athletic, but wanted to try something new in preparation for my wedding with a goal to slim down my arms/back/shoulders. I have been coming to Seafit studio for 2 1/2 years and I still love it as much as I did when I first started. I love SeaFit Studio in HB! It is kept immaculate, including their completely stocked restroom that even has deodorant for those of us that are on the run and forget at home! Words cannot describe how much I love Seafit! I moved to Huntington Beach just about two years ago and searched for a pilates studio. After my first class I knew that I had found the perfect studio! All of the instructors are absolutely amazing. I see how they cater to all fitness levels and are beyond friendly and kind. I have made really great friendships with some of the instructors. Love Seafit! I have been a regular at this studio since they opened and have seen amazing results with this workout! I tend to schedule my classes with instructors who are known to give advanced workouts, such as Lexi, Alex and Stacy. I have tried a new instructor, whose name is Alicia, who was excellent. She came in very knowledgeable about the workout and challenged me every step of the way. I have been a cardio/gym junkie most my life and never had the results I've had with Seafit. I am leaner, stronger and more flexible now then I was in my 20s. I appreciate the instructors who come in with a routine designed to kick my butt! I have never been one to try to fit in extra workouts but with Seafit I crave my next session. The instructors each have their own style but all are motivating and make you really push yourself. This workout is the best workout I've ever had! Ive always hated working out but I'm addicted to Seafit. Every workout is different so your muscles always feel the burn and don't become immune. I love that it's only 45 minutes and I can be in and out of there quickly with a great workout where I drip sweat every time! The studio is very clean and I like that it is a small class of only ten carriages because the instructors give you the attention that you need to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout. Love SEAFIT! It is a full body workout in 45 minutes, between the two studios in HB there is always a class that will work with your schedule. Each workout is challenging, different and fun.
