The guys working on my roof were very prompt, easy going, and fixed my roof in about two days (which included a tear off and replacement of shingles, waterboarding, etc). They were pretty reasonable in price too, and were also the only roofers to actually have a live person respond to my call right away - how a roofing company can afford to not call back customers in this economy is beyond me. Also, they guarantee their work for a year, so if you have a problem give them a call and they will fix it. I noticed a leak in the same spot as before, and they just called me, literally five minutes ago to tell me that they were in my neighborhood and will go on my roof and repair it, while I am at work. That's right, I don't have to leave work, and they didn't ask any questions, other than where the leak was. read more

I had my roof worked on by a roofing company out of Blissfield who did not back up their warranty. I was told that Seagate Roofing was the place to go. I called and a man named Bill came out to my home and provided an extensive litany of all the reasons why I should use Seagate. I agreed to a $3500.00 LEAK FREE Roofing repair which I was told was good for at least 2 years but that they could only guarantee me (1) year. I agreed. My roof leaked almost immediately....twice......Now I get a call that they want me to go forward with a new $15,000.00 coating system which (THIS TIME WILL FIX MY PROBLEM WITH THE LEAKS). I informed "Bill" that I paid for a (1) year LEAK FREE ROOF REPAIR and that the roof has leaked twice. He said...well, we got MOST of the leaks. I informed him that I paid for all leaks to be repaired, and that the leaks were in the same place as before....therefore, the problem has not been resolved. I was told that I needed to spend $15,000.00 for the new roofing system they offer because the roof could not be repaired and that my (1) year LEAK FREE ROOF, wasn't really guaranteed for (1) year...but that this was only a suggestion. I just put up a new $27,000.00 ceiling and new Lights and now SEAGATE says their repair is not really a repair and will LEAK again and then I was hung up on because I had the nerve to question this man's experience and subsequent explanation as to why my $3500.00 repair wasn't really a repair. ....or rather why my roof was still leaking. I am ashamed to admit it...but I have been hook winked again!!!! Thanks SEAGATE ROOFING!!!! I will be sure to share my experience with my Insurance Company, My Contractor's who recommended you, and of course, every person who walks into my store once we can re open......whatever happened to Honest Representation? SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! I requested that Bill have the owner call me....of course that was just before he hung up and then refused to take calls back...nor attempt to call me back. PS....I failed to point out that this man also made comments regarding my ability to pay, stating that I just did not have the money for a new roof and therefore he could care less what I thought......Well, we do in fact have the money for the roof.....but you can be sure IT WILL NOT BE SEAGATE who will do it!!!! read more

I had a roof replaced in June of this year and was suprised that they not only did the roof over my new addition (which is what I asked for) but also half of the roof over the old house. Since there was only half a roof to complete and have everything the same age I asked for an estimate to complete that work. Boy was I surprised to see the estimate for 1/4 of what was previously done estimated at almost the same price! I do not recommend Seagate and will not recommend in the future. Received a quote on Tuesday, was asked for a $175 deposit on a $375 job which I though was weird. It's not that large of an amount. Was told someone would call the next day to schedule. I called on Thursday because I hadn't heard anything from the company. I was told that the scheduler was not in and they were scheduling 4-6 weeks out. I explained that I couldn't wait that long and I wanted to cancel and get my deposit back. The lady then asked why, "is water leaking in my house or something". Very unprofessional. The next day, Friday my check for deposit was cashed. Really? They haven't even set up a date to do the work. The contract clearly states you have until midnight of the third business day after the date of the contract. I called and cancelled on Thursday. BEWARE DO NOT do business. If you do DO NOT give them a dime until work is complete. read more

It's easy to leave a good review right after getting a new roof. We could have done that, as Seagate was the rare contractor able to handle a special need that our older house had, and other bidders weren't able to handle. We are now over ten years out, still happy with the appearance and durability of our roof. Just as importantly, a couple times when minor issues came up, they were quickly, completely resolved. They certainly stand behind their work and products. read more

Had seagate fix my father inlaws basement for leaks . paid $18500.00 did not complete the job left two window tubs untouched. I contacted Steve he said give him two weeks . And he would fix this over sight . It's been a month every time i call he's out of town say's he will call still has'nt.The same old song an dance take the money and run I wonder if this is how the warrenty works you call they avoid or stall and lie I am not satisfied with Seagate . I would not recommend them. I originally contacted Seagate about my project and was told that the best person to assist was on vacation and I agreed to wait over two weeks for an estimate. I was called a couple of hours before the appointment and was told that they could not make it and that the person who could assist would not be available for another nine days because they were on vacation. With renovations you have to be flexible because things happen all the time but they were defensive and very unprofessional. I have learned that if you are treated poorly from the very beginning that is what you can expect during and after the service. read more

I had Seagate waterproof my basement. I then had other issues with water coming into my basement due to plumbing line being interfered with at time of waterproofing. Although it took a year for the problem to reach epic proportions, I called Seagate. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this Business. They were very admirable and came out to check the Situation and proceeded to contact and pay a plumbing company to correct the issue, they paid the plumber that I had called who discovered the problem. They cleaned my basement with Bleach and was very upstanding. What a great company you haveTom. Highly, highly recommend these guys. read more
