As soon as we walked in the front doors, he was bouncing around the store like a pinball :) He ended up finding so many books he wanted and even unexpectedly stumbled upon a signed copy of a Michael Vey book! He was so excited! I thought it was so neat that they had those. Barnes & Noble isn't just books. They had toys, legos, games, and even some apparel. If you get thirsty, they have a Starbucks inside to quench your thirst! If you ever need help locating an item, the employees are always happy to help. Just ask and they can usually find it for you or give you an idea on where to look. I've had nothing but great experiences here. We love Barnes & Noble!

We called at 10:02 am and was put on hold for maybe 2 minutes. Then they came back on and said that all the spots were taken. We ask the store manager Gracie how many spots were there which she said 60 and then preceded to tell us in 3 minutes they filled 60 spots at one store! Please give me a break.. she must think the customers are pretty stupid to fall for her out in out lie. You know that they took reservations before the set time most likely so their friends and family could get the spots before the general public... I see how you treat your loyal customers...

That same day, the price of that card went up due to it being unbanned. After my completed credit card sale, they sent me an email saying they were refunding my money because they did "not have this item due to an inventory discrepancy". What a load of BS. For me, a store's reputation is built on them standing by their product and prices. In this case, if you're caught with a card for sale on TCG that went up in price and someone buys it at that price, then you stand behind the completed sale. A store's reputation and integrity should be worth more than $20. Apparently for Game Grid, theirs is not. And by some off-chance that there was an "inventory discrepancy", then that just makes them incompetent and misleading with their inventory, and I wouldn't want to buy from a company like that either. Avoid Game Grid of Layton Utah. There a plenty of other online options on TCG alone, not counting other stores like CardKingdom, Ebay and Amazon -- choose a reputable one, not Game Grid.

I just wanna say that there is a woman who works there who brightened everyone's day that walked in…read morethere. Including mine and my husband. Her smile lit up my soul. I admit, I went in there not knowing really what I wanted but a card. Miss Sam came up to me and directed me to something else that fit perfectly to what I was explaining. I didnt even think of buying that but it made sense. I noticed that after she helped me, she went and helped someone who was down on themselves and I overheard a bit and the woman started just opening up and needing someone to talk too.. Sam just knew what she needed and held her. She listened to this complete stranger talk about her issue, and i saw genuine care.. There is something about her that understands people on a level that others dont. its special. She is good with people. Sam and her loving energy helped everyone that day that I was there even in a short amount of time. Every person in that store smiled. Ill definitely be coming back just to see our little Sam again. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed going there. Dear Sam, thank you for cheering up myself and making my husband smile and laugh. Its been a bit since ive heard his laugh. The store is set up very nicely and is very clean. The owner is kind and does everything in his power to help. Jerome is very nice. My favorite thing is the amount of willow tree items there. Case in point, a box of cookies had the sell-by date of April 2020 (I didn't notice until I spit out the first stale bite and looked). Next time I was in the store, I grabbed two boxes and took them to the service counter and they said they'd make sure they were pulled. Two weeks later, there are still 16 boxes on the shelf. Milk is routinely past date, as is cheese. If they are this careless about things that can be checked, how can I be sure they are handling perishable foods and getting them refrigerated promptly?! I won't shop here again and I hope the Board of Health does a surprise visit.
