His whole facial bones stand out and his ribs are sticking out. His neck collar is tighter by 3 holes. And the guy Declan tried to tell me he put on weight. We only picked him up this morning at 9:30am and he had his 1st bowel movement and it is a tary black. This is blood in his digestive track. I am tempted to go back up and strangle the man. He did groom the trip and look after his nails but that is a cover up for the state of him. I also didn't ask for the grooming but was added onto our bill which was 350 euro in total. My dog looking like he was starved for his whole stay. all his muscle definition is gone. As a gay man, Trip is our baby and i can not believe we got him back in this state. His spine is poking out so badly that he looks sick. We even texted him a week in and he said he was doing great and had 2 small small pug/bulldog type dogs to play with. I now think this was a lie as well. DO NOT PUT A DOG INTO ANY OF THESE KENNELS.

Barking at people, other dogs, door bells etc were all dealt with in a positive manner that our dog responded well to. I make the trek out here (in traffic, it can take a while to cross the city) every few months to stock up on the cats' flea medication. Whatever money I've handed over in the past year to this practice, they've given me back almost as much in free over-the-phone consultations and peace of mind. They've also offered to do house calls, which are double the cost of a normal consultation but it's a good option to have.
We have been loyal clients of this veterinary clinic for over 15 years -- but after what we've just…read moreexperienced, I will never go back. While we were away on holiday, our 3-year-old dog, Tod, passed away suddenly and traumatically. I rang the clinic and specifically asked for paw prints and hair clippings before he was sent for autopsy and cremation. These were incredibly important to us -- a small way to hold on to a part of our boy. I followed up again the week we got home, just to see if it might be possible to get a nose print too. I was told someone would call me back. They didn't. I had to chase twice before I finally got an answer -- that he had already been cremated (which I understood), but that no paw prints or hair clippings had been taken either. Then came the excuses. I was told UCD "don't do it," that our dog was "never with them," which is completely false -- our friend personally brought him to Anicare. When our friend brought Tod to Anicare (which they told me to do on the phone) he was informed "We dont deal with dead dogs". Not only was there no apology, but the man on the front desk spoke with zero compassion, as if none of this mattered. It was deeply upsetting and completely disrespectful. What made this worse is that we have four other dogs at home. We were terrified something contagious or environmental had caused Tod's death. When our second youngest began showing similar symptoms -- and knowing Tod had died in less than an hour -- we called in a panic. They told us they might be able to see him later that evening. That kind of delay could have cost us another life. Thank God for Village Vets on Clonsilla Road, who took our concerns seriously, acted quickly, and treated us -- and our dog -- with real compassion. They saw him immediately. It was everything this clinic failed to do. And honestly, this wasn't the first time they showed a lack of care. A few years ago, after our cat was hit by a car, I came in to see her body -- and one of the vet nurses laughed and said, "Yous don't have the best of luck with animals, do yous?" That moment has stuck with me ever since, and now I wish we'd trusted our instincts and left them then. If you want a veterinary clinic that truly cares about animals -- and the people who love them -- I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. For this clinic, it seems like money is the only real motivator. We will never forgive how our family was treated during one of the worst weeks of our lives.

Can I buy a star ?? 5 stars is just not enough !!…read more Firstly the shop is amazing - like a cross between a mini zoo and a great pet supply shop. They have stuff for all sorts of animals and can give you some really specialised advice. The staff here are like a family - each one nicer then the last. They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that I continue to shop here even though I am now on the other side of the city. I bring my nephew a lot as he adores all animals and gets to see all sorts - last week they had some tiny new born bunnies but each time I visit there is something new and interesting (from talking parrots to meerkats) I have had two stand out experiences here over the last year - the first was when i stupidly lost my keys. I was a bit distracted as I had a 3 year old with me and when I got home couldn't find my keys anywhere. I called the shop and they ran off around the store to see if they could find them - unfortunately there was no sign of the keys but they told me if I hadn't found them by closing time to call back and they would go through the CCTV footage to see if I put them down anywhere. Really above and beyond ! (tuned out my nephew had hidden the keys in the vegetable basket) The second stand out experience was last month - my little sausage dog has developed an allergy. I messaged the shop through their Facebook page and they replied looking for my number. They called me and spent ages on the phone talking me through all the options I had to treat him. They had so much practical advice and treatments that had worked for similar dogs - the guy who called me sounded so genuinely concerned about the dog and really wanted to help me. They are just fantastic and if you have pets or even are just interested in animals and want a little look around this should be top of your list - TEN STARS
