The purpose of the group is to located trash that has been illegally dumped in the desert, and clean it up. Mr. Brown, the powerhouse behind the organization, has recently arranged for inmates from the Sam Bernardino correctional facility to help with the cleanup (separate from the other volunteers so the groups do not mix). This in not like a chain gang, but instead offers incentives to the inmates, so this particular work is something they would rather do over something else (it is outside, it is away from the oppressive prison walls, and it is a community service). Over the past few years more than one hundred tons of trash and abandoned machines and vehicles have been removed from various places in the high desert - turning targeted areas from illegal dump sites back into their pristine natural landscapes. All work (except for the few days per moth done by county correctional facility inmates), is done by a growing group of concerned volunteers This is good work being done here.

I approached him first and then the rest of my Family walked up. We all had the same address and I guess since my Daughter is prettier and younger than me, he chose to just ignore me and start talking to her. He said he wanted to help so we would all need to be on one together. He then said my Dad and Daughter could pick up but continued to ignore me and be sarcastic. He made it seem like I could be on one account by myself and they would be on another one. When they walked away he told me that I am not eligible because we live in the same household. I told him to put me on the same account as them and he was very rude and said he couldn't. I am not sure if he did or not. I give them a 1 minus becauseI am a person trying to get back on my feet after an 18 year toxic relationship and was treated like dirt!! YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT A PERSON IS GOING THROUGH...BE NICE!!
