David has been to my house many times he is always courteous and respectful. Sears on the other hand could care less about their customers. Today is Feb. 15 and before Christmas while I was baking my oven door locked when the temp was set at 350. The food caught on fire and and the oven door would not open. I was told by one of the first technicians that the part needed is old and no longer available. Whenever we call we are told the parts are ordered it is now two months later and no one wants to talk to us when we call. 2 weeks ago my daughter was told since the part had not come we could apply for a new oven and it would be processed within 5 days now they are saying that is not the case. I requested someone coming out to see about replacing the electronic panel on my Kenmore elite dishwasher. I recently moved into a home that had the dishwasher in it with the buttons falling off the electronic panel. I was very disappointed to find out that with cost of the re-placement and labor it would cost me close to $725 to replace this panel which as you know is almost the cost of a brand new dishwasher. I find that absolutely ridiculous and it would deter me from ever buying another Kenmore product with the replacement cost being so prohibitive read more

Brad was excellent, Prompt, courteous and professional. I wish he would have also been my technician for the initial diagnostic evaluation. HOWEVER, be aware of Sears Home Services pricing. I was charged $359.95 for labor. The labor including the diagnostics was approximately ONE HOUR. I was told the diagnostic fee of $129 was waived. I don't believe that. In total including the part I was charged $634.63. I could have bought a new washer for that!!! TOTALLY over charged for this service. I learned my lesson the hard way - trusting Sears. read more

This was Ethan's first dishwasher repair. On the first visit he diagnosed the problem quickly and called for approval and parts. Parts arrived in 2 days. Today, he pulled the dishwasher out, disconnected water inlet and drain, electric service, and removed hoses, electric controls, and the door. Considering that the problem was the tub and frame, replacing it was a MAJOR overhaul, similar to building a whole new unit. Ethan worked diligently and smart, and finished in less than 2 hours. The first technician came out and in two minutes knew the problem. I wish they had that common part for a washer on the truck, but he didn't have one. A second appointment was scheduled the following week. Then it was canceled until the end of the following week. I had to go to laundromat. The wait time was too long. A maintenance checkup on my dryer and washing machine was done. The technician was very professional and explained certain details about my washer that I was not aware of. He did an excellent job with the maintenance on both my washer and dryer. I would recommend Sears Home Service if anyone needs maintenance or repair on any of their home appliances. read more

The service repair person Chris did an excellent job. The AI part of the over all job was a nightmare. From shipping part with incomplete address, not being notified that service on Jan 26 was cancelled & map not working. You also need to have a phone number available so customers can talk to a human being. read more
