Waiting on a replacement washer. & visits and 4 months later and still no washer! Sears Sucks! The fact that there are no live agents to talk to doesn't help. We have spent more money at this point than if we would have just bought a NEW Washer and Dryer. I DO NOT recommend using them. read more

I'm not happy with the service we got . The tech didn't want to use our discount code arguing that he did more than just the diagnostic - he chatgptd the issue and disconnected the dryer vent. We didn't deny service, he said he could not replace the dryer vent because he "doesn't have a button to charge you for that service." We still have to fix the dryer ourselves. He also didn't reconnect the foot panel cover or reconnect the dryer vent before leaving. read more

Requested preventative maintenance but didn't receive much.. not worth the $300 warranty. The technician Mike E was great though. I think his job limits him on what he can do with the warranty package I bought. He however did tell me what I can do (on my end) around my roof vent to help my dryer. read more

They were supposed to arrive 5 times but did not show to fix the microwave ! It has been broken since before Thanksgiving. ! Then they said they would arrive before Christmas BUT they did not arrive ! ! ! But they said they would arrive before New Year's Day but the did not arrive ! ! ! ! They said they will arrive in January but they did not arrive ! ! ! ! ! But they were going to arrive in February but the did not arrive ! ! ! ! ! We got a local repairman to fix the microwave!!! Then the repairman arrived today ! He seemed confident and skilled and understood the problem that was making the microwave not work and complemented the local repairman, who fixed the problem with our microwave before Sears was able to get out here months after his reported. read more

The wrong service contractor was sent so nothing was done. For over a month I have been waiting for someone to install a new garbage disposal. The first person came and said he does not install, he examined the existing disposal and concluded it was irreparable. I had already purchased a new one. He wrote up his report and said someone would call to set up appointment with an installer. Two weeks later no one calls. I call Sears, had to open new work order, explained I already purchased new disposal and needed it installed. They set an appointment. The contractor comes out I show him the disposal and he says, I don't install. Now I am waiting on a call from Sears to straighten out the confusion. It's not difficult. I just need the broken disposal replaced. Please HELP! read more

the technician called to let me know when he would arrive but never arrived but said that he did and in fact forged my signatures that I accepted the work and estimate. he then informed his HQ that he couldn't access the appliance, which was untrue as well. Waited all day for repair people to come over, he sits in my driveway, and yes I came to door and opened it to let him know I'm here.. He decides to sit there then leaves saying NO one was home. LIAR!! He also stated he didn't want to come in because he wouldn't get paid for a repair refix, we have flames coming from below the plate and since it was on a repair warranty 90 days from sears repair, he literally drove off. Bullshit DO NOT go through this company EVER!!! Some days they won't even arrive and you'll wait your 3-5 hours. Go anywhere but here.. you'll be pissed UPDATE.. I did as the gentleman told me too in my comments, went online put in information and my account info, it's now been 2 WEEKS since I did all he said.. AND of course NOTHING!!! we called to have our GE profile repaired due to a small water leak from inside the unit. When the tech arrived, after his declared window, he did not know what he was doing. At first he said it was a plumbing problem and that we needed to call a plumber. After talking to him and getting him to look at the issue, he proceeded to pull the unit out from its alcove in the process damaging the rear stabilizer feet so they didn't work anymore, then he tried to rip the side panel off by bending it back. after finding the leak from an internal part he stilled claimed it was a plumbing issue. after a bit of heated argument he decided to "fix" the bad part, making us travel to a hardware store to purchase parts. in the end he did fix the leak but the refrigerator has a bent frame, broken stabilizer feet, multi dents on the front doors and when he tried to force the unit back into the alcove he broke the wood work and damaged the wood floor. he departed with the refrigerator in the middle of floor, very unstable and tipping hazard. I have called their support line many time and finally got through to a human. I asked to be escladed to a manager and was told I would have to wait for a called back. 3 days later no call back and we have refrigerator that you have to hold up while you open the doors or else it will fall on you. to Sears, I have photos of how it was left and the damage. I had a 3rd party come out and do an assessment, I will provide all this evidence upon request. read more

The technician, Ryan H., that was at my home today for my service repair was excellent. He was very respectful, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He actually listened to my concerns with my washer and actually took the time to look into the problem. He found the problem right away and before I knew it had already had it fixed. My washer has not been working for 6 weeks now and the warranty company has sent out several other repair companies that dismissed my concerns, stated that my washer was working properly, and refused to actually find the problem and perform the repair needed. One of the companies did order a part and replaced it but the washer was worse after their repair. The technician from your company, Ryan H., found the problem right away and even took a photo and explained to me what was wrong before he fixed it. What he found is that the other company that replaced the part didn't put the washer back together correctly and that was the cause of all the problems we were having. My washer is now working amazingly if not better than when I first bought it. I honestly wish there was more I could do than just writing a review because he was so respectful and kind to me. He listened and believed my concerns when various other companies have ignored my concerns and would not help find the problem. Ryan is very knowledgeable and his repair services are beyond excellent. The fact he even took the time to take a picture and explain in a way I could understand of what was wrong was amazing. He even took the time to put the washer back in it's place and line it up with dryer before leaving. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone who is in need of repair services. read more

They really need to move their call center to the US. I called to make an appointment to get my refrigerator repaired. He would tell me when they would be out until I gave him my information. The date was way later than I wanted and when I said it's too late, he said the appointment was made. I was told to just pay the technician when he or she got here and I could call to cancel if I needed to. Who does that? I couldn't understand him at all. My guess is that if I wanted to cancel they "wouldn't have gotten the message" and I'm on the hook for the service charge. Sears. Used to be where America shopped. Sad. Horrible experience! We had a spring fixed on our refrigerator. Repair person came right on time and said he doesn't think he had one but would go look. Well he found one in the truck. Attached is the spring that cost $146.50 for a tiny spring! That is even okay but when we paid the 250.86 bill, the did it twice! So now I just paid 500 bucks for a spring and a service call. So I called sears. I think they sent me to some call center in India --- not sure. Anyway, they gave me an email address to send the proof of double charging to but that wasn't good enough. I needed to send a fax. Just did. I asked for a call back to make sure they got it. It's been hours. No response. No wonder sears is going out of business. I was home and waiting and received an email stating no one was home. He never rang the doorbell and or called. I called customer service and no help at all. They sent a photo of the corner of my house and said he called. I have cameras and a doorbell camera it showed he got out of his car took a photo and left. read more

I scheduled Sears service for my Craftsman tractor. It was going to take 3 weeks which I understand because it broke down at the beginning of the season. They never even asked what the problem was so I contacted them via online chat (it's the only way you can communicate - you can't talk to a real person) and told them I had a bad PTO clutch. I wanted to make sure the serviceman was prepared when he showed up. When the date finally arrived the serviceman said "sure enough, you need a new PTO clutch - I gotta order one". He didn't even have one even though I told them what the problem was. I asked how long it would take and he said the next opening was another 3 weeks! So I had to go back to the end of the line due to their ill preparedness. I got back on the online chat to complain and they said they would "escalate" it to a manager. Well, those at the top of the escalator wouldn't budge so I was SOL. What a horrible policy. Total disregard for the customer. I will never use Sears service again for anything. read more

Don't bother scheduling an appointment with these people, they won't show up. I spent two of my days off waiting for the Sears tech to show up to fix my dishwasher. Both were four hour time frames and nobody ever showed up both days! I am going to try Mr. Appliance and hopefully get it fixed. Very bad customer service experience! read more
