Staff was super friendly and a technician came out to me in a matter of days explaining everything that was wrong (it fried itself), what our next steps that will be taken, parts that'll be ordered, and of course payment. With snow imploding on our next visit I was kept updated on all the things and options to change my appt date. I love that they call 30 minutes before arriving. They offered a warranty that is the topping on a great experience. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for great service, amazing communication and quality work. Fast forward to the last two weeks, I had the time to go to the Best Buy in Christiana to see if I could hear the Marantz Cinema 30 system. They didn't have one on display but the associate (Rocky) talked with me about 45 minutes helping me understand the pros and cons of upgrading the AVR or speakers I have. Walked out feeling I was ready to make a decision and this is where things got interesting. I spoke with Marantz (yeah, I'm that customer) and wanted to know more about a recertified Cinema 30 they had compared to one that Best Buy showed in their inventory. The only difference was the extra warranty option Best Buy has and the key fact that if something went wrong, Best Buy would protect your investment with the same value you purchased for. Marantz wanted me to buy from them direct and offered me a discount on any item (new or recertified). Out of respect for Rocky assisting me for over 45 mins I went back to Best Buy to see if by chance they could price match what Marantz offered. 9 times out of 10, no, but Rocky took my request up the chain of command and came back with a surprising Yes. This review is because this man spent 3 hours and 45 mins with me over two separate days, without knowing If I would buy the system. On top of that, they don't get commission. So for what I saved combined with the amount of time and professionalism he showed me, I am happy to say I'm now the owner of a Brand New Marantz Cinema 30 receiver.

With my list handy, I called CB Joe's as well as two others. CB Joe's had a model close to what I was looking for in stock (a rare find these days). They could also deliver before Thanksgiving (one of a kind). The gentleman on the phone was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and he didn't try to up-sell me. The price was good, and the service was great. The delivery team encountered some issues (truck got stuck and had to be towed), but they stayed in touch updating us throughout the day. They were fast (once they got here), friendly, and got the job done. If I need another appliance, I'm going to CB Joe's (or calling them , if we're still in a pandemic ;) ).

Poor after sales experience…read more Hawkins was recommended by my cabinet designer so that is where we went with our drawings to pick out appliances. Having no experience with down drafts, blowers and how they are installed,we ordered what was recommended to us. Come to find out after the blower was delivered that there are various options for blowers that would be compatible with the down draft for various installations, some with 10" ducts and external installations, and some with 8" ducts for internal installations. No questions about installation were ever asked by the salesman. I have 8" joists in the basement, making the installation of the considerably more expensive 10" external blower almost impossible. Not to mention the extensive cutting of the block wall in the basement that would be required. Tried to do a return of the 10" blower and was told this is not possible? What?!?!? The only solutions offered were that they could try and sell it on consignment and take a commission, or try and sell it myself on FB market place. So I had to purchase another blower to complete my kitchen renovation and am now stuck with trying to sell the 10" blower to try and recoup some of my money.
