When I left a voicemail on Thursday returning the receptionist's call, I believed the clinic might be experiencing phone system issues and wanted to make them aware. My husband, a new patient, experienced the same issue after calling five times in one day without reaching staff. On Friday, the receptionist returned my call and left a voicemail stating, "your phone also goes to voicemail, and just like you're busy, so are we." This response was concerning given the context of repeated unsuccessful attempts to reach the clinic for medical care. As of Friday, I have not been scheduled for an appointment. Based on this experience, timely access to care and effective communication appear to be limited. I would not recommend this clinic to patients who require prompt medical attention.

Brenda Anderle, PA has been a godsend. I started having increased blood pressure on a Sunday…read morenight. I had always had low blood pressure in the past. I called my regular provider's office at 8 am Monday morning and spoke with the receptionist. I told her how high my BP had been and asked her to get me in as an emergent patient. She said she would have the nurse call me as she had just arrived at work. I waited 1 1/2 hours and did not receive a call. I finally called Family 1st Care. They told me to come out right then. Brenda saw me and got things turned around for me. She is very good and listens to her patients. My other doctor's office called me back around 11 am. I told the nurse I had already seen someone else. The office staff are very friendly and seem to really care, too. I highly recommend Family 1st Care. ( I don't know Rachel, but Jill Furhmann is also very good.
