Convenient website with lots of help for those who threw out the manual for their stove years ago. I had a burner knob get melted and need to replace it to put the house up for sale. Yeeee Gaaaaadssss!!! 53 dollars for a stupid burner knob? If they priced every part on the stove the same way, you'd have to get a mortgage to buy a new stove! And to add insult to injury, they want 14 more dollars to ship something that couldn't weigh more than a couple of ounces! If it's typical Sears, they'll send the wrong part the first three times. Completely incompetent and ignorant Customer Service!!!! Paid for Next Day Air, the part came late on the 3rd day. Called to get shipping charges adjusted, and they claim that they don't have next day shipping??? I have both an email and a receipt that says that they do. Transferred to 7 different reps, supervisors, and managers....and now they can't find the order. What a joke. I paid $20 in priority shipping to have an item by 5/31/18. The day went by and I did not receive it. After calling and sitting on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, I found that not only had the item not shipped yet, but they couldn't even tell me when it would be. I could have easily ordered this elsewhere and had it delivered by tomorrow (6/2), and not paid the priority shipping. After calling a second time today, sitting on hold for 20+ minutes again, nothing has changed. They still cannot tell me when or if I will receive it. Don't bother ordering parts from Sears Parts Direct...I have ordered a part for my washing machine on 7/4/18. Was told with priority shipping it would arrive on 7/9/18 and part was in stock and available. Now it is 7/9/2018 and the status shows "in process"... part might ship in 3 days and then will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Customer service reps on phone are useless and just read you back what the status says online. They did escalate to the "offline support team" who will call me back in 3 business days to tell me the status. Are you frikking kidding me!! Obviously this online/phone service part of Sears will be right behind the brick and mortar business and be out of business soon. Ordered a part. They sent me the incorrect part twice (over a period of 3 weeks). After the 2nd time and 2nd call (about 20 to 30 minutes on hold each time) they realized that their website is incorrect. The part on their website for $60 is really $100. They are saying the part for $60 that theyve sent me incorrectly twice is an older version. The part listed for $60 on the website that they are now trying to charge me $100 for is the newest version and is exactly what I need. They wanted me to pay another $100 on top of the $60 I've already paid. They said they would refund the $60 to me when they receive the two incorrect parts back. I told them I felt like they were trying to hustle me and would like to speak to a manager. I was then informed that the manager is on another call and would return my call in 1 to 2 hrs. I ordered a lawn mower blade from SearsDirect on 9/7/2013. I did so because I have a craftsman mower and could not find a good replacement part in any of the local hardware stores. I also ordered a tune up kit for the mower after speaking with a customer rep. I had checked the website for the parts before I ordered them verifying that both items were listed as "in stock." I was told that I would receive both items in 4-5 business days. 6 days later I received the tune up kit but not the replacement blade. I received an email stating that the lawn mower blade was put on back-order and that the estimated shipping date was now 10/7/2013. I needed the bladed to cut the lawn short so that I could work up the soil for my fall seeding. I checked the website with the blade part number and the webpage advertised that the part was in stock. I called SearsDirect customer service and the rep. told me that although the email stated that the part was estimated to ship on Oct. 7th, it would actually ship on 9/18. I called Sears Direct in 9/16 to confirm the 9/18 ship date and I was told that the part could not be shipped until 10/7. I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a so called manager named "Ken" employee ID 400813. I explained the opportunity cost of not getting the blade delivered as promised on the day that I ordered it. I also explained that even now the blade was advertised online as "In Stock." Ken really didn't seem to care. He told me that the best he could do was refund the shipping cost (which came to ~ $3). I told him that this screw up was going to ruin my ability to seed my lawn for the fall season. He really didn't care and actually hung up on me. I called Sears complaint line, explained the situation and the rep. also hung up on me. It was not like I had used profanity or anything. I was just asking her to write up the complaint in detail. The woman became frustrated and didn't want to write up anything longer that a single sentence. The reps are totally clueless. The company sucks. It is no wonder that Sears is contracting in size. I have ordered 4 times from SPD, and have never had a successful order. I only keep going back because I can't find the parts I need anywhere else. First, I ordered some drip pans. In spite of an exact part # match, they did not fit my stove. Second, I made an order and after hearing nothing for a month called to find out there was a problem and they couldn't complete it. A month and no contact from SPD to let me know there was an issue. Third, one of the parts was on back order. Still waiting on it 2.5 months later. Fourth, I ordered the same drip pans after the reply to my review on their site assured me that they were working to resolve the issue (6 months had elapsed). I got the wrong parts again. When I tried to return the order, there was a technical issue on the site. I called and was told they would research why I've received the wrong part. Was told I would hear back in a week. No call, so I called customer support and got vague assurances, but the tech couldn't even tell me what the status of the 'research' was or why they needed a week to 'check part numbers with the vendors'. read more

Tried to help my daughter out, by buying her a new belt for her apartment size, clothes dryer. Our local U-fix it, was closed on weekend, so I reluctantly called my local Sears. I see why they are on the brink of bankruptcy!After a lot of wasted time, & button pushing, I was transferred to Parts Direct. I gave them the model number, & had to pay $36.00 & change, for the belt. It did get delivered quickly, but when I went to install it, it obviously was way too long, & was the wrong belt! Got a hold of Parts Direct again, & very nice lady told me, that the belt I was sold, didn't even cross reference with my model number, & she had no idea why they would send that to me. She did send me a printing label for a return, & gave me the correct belt number, & I got it on Ebay, for $7.00. I returned the damn belt, & only got a refund for $23.00. NOT satisfied, since it was their fault the order was wrong in the first place!!! read more

This company is unreliable and untruthful. Their guarantees mean nothing and their promises are empty. They promise a certain day and time for delivery and they knowing they cannot fulfill their guarantees they just hope you are dumb enough to not notice. If you're like me and call to ask them where your $300 part is they will have you on hold for 45+ minutes be very unconcerned with your needs or what they promised you. My Rep was Ashton was so disrespectful when I asked for a manager he HUNG UP ON ME. And I'm still waiting for my part! Don't order ANYTHING from this site! They are slow and don't have a clue as to what they are doing. I ordered a control board for my Maytag Dishwasher (which I will never own again, but I digress). When I ordered the part that cost over $100 after tax, I specifically asked the person who helped me, "If the part doesn't fix the problem or doesn't work, can I return it?" She said, "Yes." It took nearly a month for the part to come. When I installed it, it worker perfectly, one time. After that it never worked again. When I requested a return there was an option for the reason for the return, "The part broke immediately after it was installed." I checked that box. After about 10 days, I had not heard anything so I opened a "chat" window on their website. I was assured that the refund would be posted in 5-10 business days. I said, no problem, thanks. A few days later I noticed that the shipping cost only was refunded. I went to the online chat again. The person said that the shipping was refunded separately from the cost of the part, and the part refund should post in 3-5 days. Again, no problem. Yesterday I received an email stating that my refund was denied because the part was not in resale condition. Of course it wasn't, that's why I returned it! The saga has not ended, but I will certainly never order from Sears again. No wonder our local store is going out of business. Sears quality doesn't mean what it used to. :-( read more

STAY AWAY! I also wish I could give negative stars. My experience is very similar to others posted here. Ordered a bin for my refrigerator door. Part went on backorder. Then it went on backorder again. Then they canceled the order. So I waited a while and later it appeared to be available. I ordered it again. This time it was $20 more expensive. They then charged my credit card for the *first* order. Then they put the *second* order on backlog. So I called to cancel that order. They said they would call me back to confirm, but did not. I ordered the part elsewhere and received it in 2 days. That's when the fun really started. In addition to the part I ordered elsewhere, I have now (2 months later) received the part from (and been charged for) both PartsDirect orders. So now I'm the proud owner of three refrigerator door bins. Yay. PartsDirect purports to allow me to return them, but will charge me shipping to do so, and will not refund the original shipping charges. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH PARTSDIRECT! read more

The reasons I ordered and had a good experience, and what Sears could improve is as follows: This review is on a lower dishwasher rack for an old Kenmore/Whirlpool. Why I would order again. 1. The price was $25 lower than Amazon on the same part. 2. The deliver was very fast! 3. The part looks different than the original, is designed different than the original...and frankly, the new design is improved over the original. Looks better and functions better than the original. 4. ALL the older parts to put on the rack fit super, and the functionality is super! 5. Unlike other reviews I did receive email regarding my order, and the ability to track my order. UPS 3rd Day Select was truly the best way to ship this item. Suggestions for improvement. 1. The picture of the new dishwasher rack, part #WPW10350269, includes the wheels. I was hoping it would include wheels. It, of course, (and I thought when I ordered it would not), did not include the wheels. 2. There were no instructions! I tell my customers to go to YouTube all the time for instructions. It wasn't that difficult to figure out and do, lucky for me. Had to put the old wheels on and the middle spray thingy. All fit well! 3. This was the only replacement part that made economic sense out of the entire parts being sold. Everything else looks more expensive than it should be, and this was a great price on this part! I would order again without hesitation!!! I would have given a 4 Stars, but someone has to counterbalance some of these stupid low star rating reviews, so I am! All these people are ordering from SearsDirect because they cannot find the item cheaper, or cannot find the item from someplace else at all. When Sears is gone you will not have the ability to get parts for your older Sears items at the pricing they are offering. Replacement Part for Refrigerator - By far the worst experience. Ordered over a month ago because a glass shelf shattered. First it was backordered, with no notification to me. Then, they said it was delayed. Now, it's back to backordered. You cannot reach anyone that knows anything - they put me on hold for 1 hour because I wanted to speak to a supervisor. It's good that Sears is going out of business because with this type of customer service - they can't survive. Would never buy another sears product again. I ordered a refrigerator filter, 10 days ago. Order status (it was not easy to find my order it wasn't in my account and had to search for it) only says Ordered, not Shipped. SearsPartsDirect apologizes and refunds my shipping. No word on when I'll receive the filter. I've had issues with them before and cancelled my auto ship on filters because of it. I placed and order for a Schwinn 418 console mast and received a small filter in a box.... the description part number and lookup on their site said this was my console mast. They processed my return after spending 45 minutes online with a jerk named Wyatt that kept asking me my email address 5 times and part number so many timesi lost count. I asked if I would get full refund including the $11.99 shipping and he said yes....E-mail later showed I was out shipping both ways. No wonder Sears is going out of business. I had used Sears Parts direct previously about two years ago. I was very happy with my experience. I recently ordered parts to repair my Kenmore washer and this time the experience has been nothing short of worthless. I ordered parts to repair my washer and was told the parts were in stock. Two days later they were being shipped. 2-3 weeks later UPS is still waiting for the parts to arrive to them for delivery. I contacted Sears parts direct twice. The first time they said the vendor was the problem and couldn't do anything about it. The second time I contacted Sears parts direct , they said they were expediting the order - that the parts must've got lost in the mail. They were supposed to arrive today. I contacted Sears parts direct again(3rd time now) and again they mentioned that the problem was with the vendor. Please don't bother ordering from them. Order from Amazon and the part will get there quicker. Not sure about the quality but I'm sure Sears Parts Direct is getting them from the same cheap source. Needed repair on my ride-on tractor. 1st tech came, identified the problem and ordered the parts. Week later 2nd tech came and after 1/2 an hour said, "Come over here and take a look at this so I know I'm not going crazy." He said I need an additional part that cost $2 (kitframe.sl) and it's on backorder for 2 weeks. I am a one-legged man. I use my ride-on to cut grass and get around my property. Long story short, over a month later the part is still back ordered. Here's the deal. The Craftsman model tractor I have was built on a defective frame. Instead of recalling the mowers the manufacturer developed a Frame Kit, that way the customers pay for the fix. $2 part the tech ordered is nothing more than a bolt from the kit. An honest rep told me they will never break-up the kit for a single bolt so that part will forever be back ordered. I had to buy the entire kit ($56.) That kit did arrive and I'm waiting for the tech to fix my ride-on mower. P.S. - The tech sounded unusually surprised when he called to confirm and I said the part is in. almost like he knew what he ordered is phantom (another story). 10/03/18 - Tech came. This company is not worth dealing with. I ordered a part for my dishwasher and when they confirmed the order that day through an email they stated it would not arrived for 3 weeks. I found the part locally the next day and called and tried to cancel the order. The agent I talked to would not cancel my order even though not was not due to be shipped for 3 weeks. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges but they advised me to try and work it out with Sears Parts Direct but did take all the information for a disputed charge if they were not willing to take the product back. I called parts direct again 2 days after I placed the order and the person I talked to was very agreeable and said they would be glad to cancel the order and refund my charge and basically said everything I wanted to hear. It was all lies! The next day, day 3, I received an email from Sears Parts Direct stating the order had been filled and the order shipped and I would have to return the item once I received it. 2 days later, day 5, the order arrived on my doorstep. I returned it through UPS that same day, now having paid shipping both ways for an order I tried to cancel and which they had agreed to cancel. 2 weeks later I was still waiting for a refund so I called my credit card company agin and was told they had started the paperwork to dispute the charges. The credit card company called me and explained what the process was from that point forward and said they had deducted the funds from this company's account with them and were crediting my account in full. They advised me once again to contact Sears Parts Direct and try to get them to issue a credit from their end. I did call Sears Parts Direct and talked to a 3rd person who was more than helpful, apologized for the troubles I was having and promised to return the full charge including the shipping costs. I knew he was lying to me because their return policy stated they would not refund shipping costs on any returns. I told him I thought he was being less than honest but he assured me he was going to take care of everything. That same afternoon I saw a credit on my credit card for the full price I had paid that was entered by my credit card company from the disputed charge paperwork I filed. Then today I received an email from Sears Parts Direct stating they were refunding my account for the cost of the part but not shipping charges. I have learned my lesson and will not deal with Sears Parts Direct for anything ever again and I would advise anyone considering being parts from them to RUN as fast as you can to any other place to buy the items they need. This company is flagrantly unconcerned with customer service and tells outright lies to people when you contact them by phone. We have a Samsung TV (not purchased at Sears) that developed a problem with the base so that the TV no longer sits level. Sears said they had the base in stock so I ordered it. They charged my card immediately and I got a notice of expected ship date. It didn't ship. Instead order shows backordered from supplier. They update status weekly to show still backordered. It is not possible to cancel the order online. It's been three weeks. Called today and requested a refund. Agent said they would "forward my request to an offline department".
