9/5/2024. Locked out of my running vehicle on a remote dead end rd on hot day with my dog and phone inside the truck. We have coach Net Roadside Assistance so I txt my S.O. using my smart watch, gave her my address and had her call CoachNet. With 20 min Gerald Sears with sears towing arrived, had my Chevy Colorado unlocked in 5 min. Durring my 20 min short wait I was updated 2x with ETA. Gerald was friendly, and efficent. Read this it's important! My son ran out of gas on Hwy 27 in Science Hill Ky, which is close to this jerk that towed cars ! His business is called Sears Towing! Well.... Anyways I am very upset! this man only towed our car less then 5 miles and that charge was &200.., thehe said it depends it may run either $75 to $100 for each day the vehicle is impounded! WOW! After our accident these folks towed the vehicle away and was supposed to take it directly to the body shop, which they did not. They held vehicle for almost 2 weeks before they delivered it to the body shop, which we were waiting on it to arrive when it got there our vehicle was missing items that were left in it also brand new battery that was just installed a month prior had been removed. Very sketchy company would not recommend anyone. read more

Gerald Sears is a not a honest person. I bought a car off him and paid him off. It took me a year to chase him down to pay the last payment. Gerald put a lien on it and now he won't go to court house to sign the lien release. It's been over two years of calling him and him saying he will go down on Monday morning but he never has. Also he said some nasty things to me and made me feel very uncomfortable. If your a female don't go around him by yourself. And don't call him to haul a car. Or buy one from him. Everything that man does is unprofessional and he charges what he wants to charge. There guidelines he has to go buy. But doesn't. Warning stay away from Sears Towing. read more

this tow company is a joke they repoed my car at 11 am I payid the lean off and tow fees by 4 pm that same day refused to release my car to me then devoted to threaten to beat my head in for trying to get my car law was called and at that time he finally released my car to me it's a joke don't trust him read more

My mother had this place to fix her car and paid 600$ and they never told her what was wrong with her car and when she got the receipt it said 500$ labor 100$ for parts but it didn't say what parts and now her car won't start and the guy said that she needed a battery well I'm sorry but she paid 600$ her car should have been completely fixed they just knew she didn't have a choice she had to have her car. Gerald Sears is very unprofessional and his business and work is not to par. He over charged me for work completed on my car and then refused to give me a receipt for the $1000 I just paid him. He then proceeded to disrespect and cuss me and call me a liar. I will never use his services again nor would I recommend them. Customer beware! read more

Absolutely undependable. Called on Monday for a tow on Wednesday. I wanted him to arrive at 9:00am, he said 8:30 worked better for him and I agreed. At 9:00 on Wednesday morning they had not arrived, so I called them to see when they would arrive. I was told that I was to have called him Tuesday to remind him. Of course that was not discussed. So he said he would send a driver right away and to have the driver call me. After 30 minutes of not hearing from the driver I called back again and was told he was on his way. Their office is 10 minutes from my location so I expected them any minute. Another 30 minutes went by and still nothing. So I called a different Company. read more

Absolutely horrible towing service last people I would call on the planet if I needed a tow my vehicle got stolen and was parked out on a road at a residence that was for sale behind their Barn Sears Towing came and got it at 2 a.m. and by 2 p.m. the next day they tried to say that it would cost me $200 to get my vehicle out of impound and it was due to the fact that it was at 2 a.m. in the morning never have I ever had to deal with such bulshit my vehicle set at candido's for more than a week and they only charged me $75 but yet Sears Towing had it for less than 12 hours and try to charge me $200 to get my vehicle out I told them they could keep it and he smiled and said he going to sign the title over to me. So Not only was my vehicle stolen but now I don't get it back because Sears Towing was the one who come and got it $200 for them having it less than 12 hours that's outrageous and they're morons a back window got busted out of my van which it wasn't like that I hate to see what it would cost if the dam thinks that there for a week so if I was you I would not call Sears Towing. read more
