If I could wear them everyday I would but my job demands heavy boots. I would shop there for any shoe I need if I was local. Staff is wonderful and the owners, while a bit intrusive in wanting to meet everyone who walks in are annoying, they mean well and it speaks to how passionate they are. Def would come back. I love that they are curated from around the world, including Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, and Australia. Very unique. All very high-quality and well-made, and most extremely comfortable, which is one of the main things I look for in a shoe these days. They also have some beautiful leather purses. My husband has several pairs of shoes from here too. Absolutely recommend, and intend to stop in on every visit to Kennebunkport! As an added bonus, they also do free shipping and/or tax, which is super convenient. This time we came with four of us, including our friends, Doug and Aviva, who are locals, and bought 10 pairs. This is literally the best-curated kid's store I've ever been to. A ton of books, including a lot I hadn't seen in stores before before but that were classics or classic-adjacent. Cute clothes, cute toys, just everything you could ask for. And the layout of the shop is so good too!! Lots of great little clusters of related items. One nice bonus is like, yeah, it's not cheap kid's stuff, but you also have a million books at list price to choose from. So if you're burnt out on KPT prices, you can get great souvenirs at the same price you'd pay at home. Honestly 10/10, no notes, I would definitely come back if I was ever in the state (even if I were just going to Portland).

When I explained I needed a bag, since I was doing more shopping in town and spent close to a hundred dollars, I felt I shouldn't have to pay an additional.25. Not good business sense to loose a customer over a quarter. If I was the clerk, I would have searched around and found some bag that perhaps a person consigning had left behind to give me as an option since she couldn't part with their plain brown paper bags that they use. The owner of this company should pay attention to this and instill some flexibility to their employees.

Apparently, their Saturday Babka offering is quite exceptional. They also have a comfy chair and magazines about Maine for your partner to peruse while you shop. CC is essentially a collective of vendors who are selling their merchandise; the store is divided into little "cubbies" across two floors - with each cubby showcasing a specific vendor and their merch. The selection varies - lots of home decor in varying styles, but I also saw a lot of crap too like used Tupperware and old McDonald's toys from the 90s. There were a few VHSs which awesome if you're collecting those - but then I saw some marked up Beanie Babies? We were truly stepping back in time when entering Cole's. Overall, this was a fun throwback - there's a lot of stuff here to see so you can easily spend a good chunk of time going through each vendor.
