They have a huge property that you can roam around and visit all of the animals they care for. There are waterfalls that you can check out too. Their dogs Sake and Mr Bubbles were very sweet. Our room was very comfortable and the large bathroom had a double sink, soaking tub and a huge shower. The breakfast buffet was great, Rachel made delicious pancakes one morning and Dutch Baby the next. So good! Each night we enjoyed the campfire and roasted marshmallows. This was our best stay on a 10 day road trip in Oregon!

My wife and I stayed at the Redfish Loft and had a very relaxing time while there…read more It sits atop the Redfish Restaurant and adjacent to the Hawthorne Gallery in Port Orford on the southern Oregon coast. At the time of this writing, it's only a little over a year old. Very upscale looking and classy, with works of art throughout the loft. You'll find a bamboo floor and a large, comfy couch. At your disposal, you have a flat screen television with cable, mini-fridge, coffee maker (fresh coffee, tea, cider, nuts, etc are provided), iPod dock, free Wifi, king-sized bed, gas fireplace, walk-in, stone shower, large soaking tub, and one of the most gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean on the coast. You can have wine and food delivered to the Loft from the restaurant below or go down for a bite. The only downside is that you may find music soaking through the floor of the Loft from the restaurant below. Also, I would have liked a microwave in the room. Port Orford is a small town with an over-priced grocery store (Ray's Foods) and restaurants that tend to open and close at a whim. Nice place for an Oregon coast stay.

They are currently remodeling the rooms and the entire space but they were courteous and very welcoming. I met the owner and he cares for his product as he asked me for my opinion. I told him that the rooms were great, the beds was very comfortable, cozy and warm. They have a small kitchen and all so you can get your food and bring it into the hotel. It's got a clear view of the beach which is directly across the street with some really great restaurants overlooking the beautiful beach and oceanfront with a view of Battle Rock also!! The Shoreline Motel has been completely remodeled in the past year or so, and the owners did it all themselves. The owners take a lot of pride in their business and it shows. Little things like local handmade soaps and super comfy beds (all the furnishings are brand new and very clean and comfortable)I'm always on the hunt for boutique hotels and this little "motel" is special enough to be considered a boutique motel I I'll definitely stay here again! The location is incredible too!

I think I've drove by it many times, but it didn't hit me to check it out. DUH on my part. Cute little cottages in an RV park type setting. What I LOVE about Cottages is that no one is making noise above you or below you or banging on the walls beside you. You have your own little place. Peace and quiet. I checked into cottage #706. Nice ocean view. Light and airy. It had a coastal theme of lighthouses and sailboats. It smelled clean. No musty, moldy, smoke or pet smells. It was clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. Kitchenette was clean. Refrigerator was clean. Floor was a nice wood vinyl with no carpets and yes... it was clean. Bedroom was clean. Furniture was clean. WOW....seriously? What strange place is this? I actually didn't feel like I had to clean. It reminded me of coming home or maybe staying at your great lost Aunt's house. The only negative, my cabin didn't have WiFi. Yes, they do have WiFi, but the cabins closer to the ocean do not have it. Also, bring your own shampoo. They do have body soap, but it's very basic. Great weekly prices, clean and yes, I would recommend this place even without WiFi.

The owners of this vacation rental were extremely friendly and accommodating. They know the area well, and had a suggestion for everything from restaurants to hiking trails. Their vacation rental has a charming French theme, and comes stocked with great books, movies fresh eggs and homemade bread.

So glad we chose to stay here for the 4 nights we were there. This motel is the best stay in town…read morewith hands down best beach access which is literally across the street. We spent every night combing the beach for eye candy treasures of colorful starfish and giant green anemones. It was nice to hang out at the picnic tables late at night just to chill, listen to the ocean, watch the cars go by. The owners are friendly and offer frequently how they can help us enjoy our stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean with new and modern amenities such as a microwave, mini fridge, and 4 cup coffee pot. I appreciated the full length mirror, more coffee ability in the room, the fan, big table, and the always hot shower. It is colder in the off season so the new extra blanket made it cozy. They also have a restaurant that offers a broad menu, bar, ice cream, coffee bar. It is all you need in one spot and even better, it is only a short walk to wander to the towns gift shops and attractions. Highly recommend.

It was our honeymoon, and lovely owners John and Jackie took the time to meet and greet us and give us a tour. They even provided some strawberries and champagne! The mini bar was fully stocked with sodas and water, the laundry services had soap and fabric softener, the cabinets held beach towels, rafts and board games! And best of all it was all included in our stay! One wall was all windows providing a breathtaking view of the sea, and outside were some amazing surprises. A gazebo, a fire pit, a sauna and hot tub and a hidden trail that led to my favorite place: a giant hammock nestled amongst the tree tops. We woke up each morning to blue jays and bunnies in the yard and the smell and sound of the sea. What more could you ask for? How about a reasonable price? You got it! This place blows the local hotels and cabin rentals out of the water! We will definitely be back, next time for a more extended stay. They literally thought of everything.

This would be a 5 Star if it were not for the following:…read more -The overbearing, rude on site manager -The lack of trash bins -How loud it got all throughout the night despite the quiet time. There was not a single of the night I didn't hear drunk people screaming at each other or getting into fights. -The sites are also incredibly cramped and small with no privacy or division of the sites surrounding them. Just an open field with a few trees. HOWEVER there are plenty of positives! -There were plenty of spaces and apparently I went on a really busy weekend -Tons of river access and places to swim -A great big open field with a basket ball hop, volley ball court, teacher ball, and huge inflatable balls you can get inside of and roll around in. That was really something. -Very kid friendly aside from how loud it is throughout the night -Well maintained, even a little too much... -On site place to buy wood -Not too far from town! So although there's plenty of positives, the on site guy really upset me and was just a huge jerk and it made it so unpleasant. It's funny that he feels the need to boss me around about something I didn't do (someone who came to camp, not party) but when people are being loud obnoxious drunks all night long suddenly he's blind and deaf. I'd never go back. Too loud, crowded and the guys on a power trip. But he does maintain the place nicely.
