Known to berate people out on a whim is another deal. Geez, tone it down a bit and give people some space to relax. Pros: *Super quiet *Staff helps guide rigs in to park. *Probably not great for kids. *Beautiful location on the river. *Bathrooms; very clean. *Prices are reasonable. *Decent wifi. *Owner pays attention to keep the riff raff out. Cons: *Gravel spots. *Super small patios that are heaving which could lead to twisted ankles exiting rigs. We told the front desk and reported it. The next day we packed everything back into the car to avoid the theft and only left a cooler next to our tent out of site and again they returned and took another bottle of whiskey out of the cooler along with beers and sodas. They don't have enough staff on grounds watching over guests best interests. Also the bathrooms were never locked, that invites the homeless In to use shower facilities and thefts come either that. They also need cameras installed throughout the whole park. If you stay here plan on loading and unloading every single time you leave.

They even provide a daily trash pickup from your site in the mornings which we appreciated. The sites aren't huge but have trees and bushes and privacy screens between, way better than those grass lots that shove you side by side. The staff are amazing - from check-in, to the daily rounds we always had staff smiling and offering to help. I was so impressed by their customer service. I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice quiet camp site! Amenities include pool (which we did not use), small park for kids (could use a nice cleaning but my son loved it), game room, and dog park.

The check in was easy, our host attendant , gave us clear instructions to our airstream. We were a bit confused the first day and evening about how to contact someone after hours. I kept getting the bot when I went on to the website. Finally when I googled Bay Point Landing General store, I found that part of the site. From then on it was a breeze to getting help. The airstream was well stocked. Dishware, glasses, utensils, cookware and cooking utensils. Linens were clean, we even had lovely doggy baskets for our pups. Complete with towels, dishes, treats, leashes and sheets to cover bed and sofa. They have activities everyday to attend. We did the happy hour the first night, it was very nice sitting looking over the water and enjoying a glass or two of wine. I was grateful for the broom that was in the airstream, sweep out the RV multiple times a day. The airstream comes with dish rags and dishes towels, but no dish soap you can purchase that at the General store. This is not glamping, as some reviews seemed to think. But it is a step above RVing in a state park. There are nice amenities and can make as many improvements as you want, but they cost. We were happy with the close proximity to the state parks, restaurants and grocery stores. We look forward to our next stay at Bay Point Landing.

It started with Brandy who took our reservation. Extremely nice and gave us some great tips about the area. We were visiting for the first time. It was a total chill experience. Easy to go down the elevator and hit the casino. We went to a Billy Nation concert at the casino. They are a cover band for Billy Joel. The guy sounded better than Billy Joel! Ate at the Timber restaurant three times for breakfast and it was very good. Clean place. Pool is really nice and has two hot tubs. There is a walkway out the back door with a beautiful view of the water. I got my steps in walking down the promenade. Joe, the guy who maintains the lobby is a hell of a nice guy. Always had a "Hi Mike" to me and asked if I needed anything. Joe is extremely proud of his job and had nothing but good things to say about his employment there. 19 years and the guy is still happy going to work. That's the kind of stuff that makes me feel good about people. Great guy. Laura who works in housekeeping took care of us. She knows her job and isn't afraid to step in and help. Great work ethic. Our kids and their friends go to the Oregon Dunes to ride their Can-Ams and quads. We decided to leave our camper home and stay at Ko Kwel. So happy we did.

Our guides--Peter, Anna, Kristen, and Jonas--were ideal leaders and companions: friendly, skilled, professional, and hard-working. The lodges were a treat, especially at the end of a rainy day, and the food at all of them was excellent. I only wish that the trail-hiking option (hiking along the river trail while the rafts floated) was more clearly explained in WRE's website info, I would have brought hiking boots if I had known about that option.
