While it wasn't "difficult" to make an appointment, they do book out several weeks out, don't answer their phone (call-backs only it seems), and have very limited supporting technology (website, reviews, etc.). If you can work around that I think you and your dog will like it here - my dog and I are very particular! Amy treated us very well.

When I arrived, the owner greeted us with open arms, the groomer came out and met us. She examined Lucy and noticed her ears needed a deep cleaning, not to mention her recommendation on grooming. My Shih Tzu is turning 17 and more than ever, I am concerned with her well-being. Not only did Lucy receive a beautiful cut, she smelled wonderful. I am a Cockapoo breeder and have pretty dogs so need a great groomer who will keep my dogs looking nice and who are kind to them. This is family run business always super nice. And friendly. I was a bit put off when she changed her business model to a network of independent groomers and cut back her hours to take only those who were coming in every 4 weeks. My boy Apollo gets the full treatment every 8 weeks. However, she introduced me in May to Eric Matthew who is expert in terrier grooming, and after yesterday's appointment all fears were vanquished. He did a superb job and I feel totally confortable continuing Apollo's sessions with him every eight weeks.

Spiro does make sure that the dogs are safe and well cared for. My pup has never been injured or hurt even though he's a rough and tumble puppy. Well, I just had to leave her again for a trip to Europe so I booked her into and was nervous the whole trip over how she would cope. When I picked her up yesterday, I couldn't believe it. Her weight, her skin - everything looked great! She was excited to see me, but not in the usual "get me the hell out of here" way. She came home and was her normal, zany self! I'm so grateful to Stavros and the gang and will not even consider another kennel next time. I can't recommend this place enough.
