This is such a cool spot! I was blown away by the amazing selection of sea life here. We could've spent HOURS here just watching all of the fish and other animals. My kids even got to feed the sharks and sting rays. What a fabulous experience. The staff is so nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Really cool spot, All the tanks were super clean & well maintained. They had an impressive variety of both freshwater & saltwater fish. Prices were solid too. Definitely a great little shop worth checking out.

    Dead fish the next day

I've spent a lot of money there, yet the fish still died. The first time they recommend the wrong thing and second time around the fish died the next day

Quite a selection of marine tropicals, not as much freshwater. Still, what they had was pretty good

Ask the Community - Seaside Tropical Fish

What kinds of aquatic plants do they sell?

https://www.facebook.com/ocorangecountytropicalfishstore/ We have assorted live plants in stock. I posted picture on our facebook.…

Do they have frogs and/or tadpoles?

They have dwarf African frogs most of the time and they rarely have tadpoles but they do occasionally. I would just call before hand.

Do they have jelly fish and how much are they?

They used to have jelly fish at the front part by the register. They were about $80. Although, when I went last month, they did not have them.

    Do they have freshwater clams?

    No, they don't have them.

What is the actual address? Thanks.

Some leaves had holes and crinkled/dying leaves. But it was a really big javafern and I like that it's already attached to the drift wood. It's doing well in my tank and slowly getting healthier :) the javaferns at Nolan's were tiny and even in worst condition lol so I think I still got a good plant. Staff is super knowledgeable on plants and fish. I like how much staff they have, you never have to wait for help there's always someone that is around. Btw the owner is super nice and sweet! She said new inventory every fridays - I came on Friday and they actually had SO many more plants. So it's best to come Friday I guess so there's a bigger selection to chose from :) Btw: My water lettuce all rotted and melted in my tank. Idk what happened !!! The other plants did well I have a light and test my water every day. But I won't blame the store bc they looked good in store.

I was here on friday 12/12/25, I was looking at a pleco fish and the mango pleco caught my eye, but wanted to sleep on it, decided to come by Sunday 12/14/25 and I saw the place boarded up/caution tape. So sad to see that there was a fire today, from the look of it, it looks pretty burn/charred up inside. RIP to the many beautiful fishes who burn in the fire, I do hope and pray some of the fishes survived, and I hope Tong's rebound/ rebuild/ reOPEN in the future.

What I do have is a 2 year old granddaughter who has a fascination for pretty fish in fancy aquariums. This is not a strip mall pet store. We took her just to look. Didn't buy anything. We were simply amazed at the volume of related merchandise and vast displays of beautiful tropical fish and anemones, live aquatic plants, to name a few. You will find some very exotic specimens in many sizes and colors, with prices to match. We felt welcome and free to roam, looking at all their displays. This place is definitely a great resource for collectors.

I had went in when they first opened shop and it had only saltwater on the left, now they have expanded the right side of the store to freshwater and I am pretty excited about that. As someone who only works with freshwater, it's really exciting to have a local store instead of supporting big chains like petco and petsmart. I'm really looking forward to the day I get to stop by and choose my betta for my new set up! I also wanted to include that they have a few nano tank setups on display with some cute shrimp and some guppies! They have just about the same inventory as a chain store that you would buy from, if anything, more than that! The bettas were listed as $20 but I'm not sure if that applies to all of them on display. I was a bit sad when I saw them because their tails weren't in the best condition however, this might just be the way they were shipped. Whatever it is, it can be fixed with a bit of love and care!
