Dim, unkept, and generally uncomfortable experience. Owner sits out front and is confrontational, will watch you when you are inside. Browsing is not worth it because of this. No plants for sale, no prices are on the tanks and the overall environment makes me not want to even ask. There are much better places easily within a 20 minute drive. read more

They sell returned or sick fish. My parrot cichlid turned so white and puffy within a month I got him. Arrowanas shouldn't be put inside a 10-gallon tank even if it's a baby. Some fish died in the tank. Overall, I wouldn't come here again even if it's closed to my house. I rather go somewhere far with more healthy fish. read more

Prices for supplies were good but the state of the fish and their aquariums wasnt the best. A 6-8" arrowanna should not be stressed out frantically swimming in a MAYBE 5 gallon tank. This store has definitely seen better days. The place was dim. A lot of the tanks were dirty and the fish seemed unhappy. Some looked like they were sick. I think with some care and extra effort from the employees it could easily be a decent shop again. read more

Went there and purchased 3 discus fish on Friday came home and the next day one of the fish had died, so took it back to store next day and they refused to give me another fish. Sold us a sick fish the other fish was very aggressive to all my other fish and the employees were very rude. Would never buy from this store again. read more

Great little shop for Flowerhorns. Vu was really nice and informative and even though there was a language barrier we were able to get all our questions answered. They have a great selection of beautiful Flowerhorns. Went in 1 week to pick one out and they were gracious enough to hold onto our fish for a week as we had to cycle the water in our new aquarium. By the time we returned to pick up our fish 5 days later they had like 5 new Flowerhorns. Don't forget to bring cash as they don't do credit cards. read more

Small fish store with a small selection of fish. He has one tank with medium-largish discus for the best price I've seen, and THEY'RE HEALTHY! I've bought 2 discus from him on 2 separate occasions and both times they have thrived. His tanks are clean, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The worst business I have come across. I bought a Tetra Pond 50-block jar for my fish pond (referred by a gardener). The guy who sold me (Hanson) talked me into buying the entire jar for a lower price. Trusting the referral and wanted to support the Vietnamese community businesses, so I did not bargain when they asked for $150. They don't accept credit card so I paid them cash (they didn't give me a receipt, that in itself was fishy). I went home and checked the price online and it is on Amazon for $74.99 (retail $80.31) sold by the manufacture itself. Some websites were even lower. I called them back right away and tried to reason with them but they will not take it back or lower the price. They offered credit but how can I do business with these people again. Lessons here: always check the price online (I didn't do it here because I didn't know the name of the product that would do the job); don't alway trust the referral without questioning; don't buy if they are not willing to accept return; Unfortunately, with some of the businesses in the community, their policy is always trying to rip off unsophisticated customers (their fellow countrymen) when possible and this policy will always fail in the end. Spread the words to friends and relatives. The best is to avoid these businesses in the first place. The 5-star reviews here are undoubtedly from the owner himself and friends. They are rigged just as their referral scheme. Bad businesses people think consumers are stupid and they eventually fail, and they ask themselves why. read more

Very nice owner! I'm from the Bay Area and he was telling me how to care for the fish on the drive home if I were to buy it. The selection was also great for such a small store. I really liked the flowerhorn selection, the ones that they had were very high quality too. The prices for fish food and materials were also very fair. Very nice owner. Smaller, but clean and organized fish store. We came to just look around, but he recommended a fish for our small 5-gallon tank. We ended up buying it and 2 more on top of that.
