Based on that review and Amy's response, it sounded like she took the scheduling of these appointments seriously, and would not cancel or reschedule the appointments. I couldn't have been more wrong. My daughter is a college athlete with a strict training schedule, so timing the recovery period (no sweating for 10 days post treatment) accordingly was very important. 1. The initial eyebrow treatment was poorly done. My daughter's natural hair color is dark brown, yet for some reason Amy gave her faint light blonde eyebrows. 2. The follow up appointment for the 2nd treatment was scheduled a month in advance according to my daughter's training schedule and to coordinate with another procedure that she was having done, so as to overlap the recovery protocols. However, a few days before that appointment, Amy texted my daughter saying that she needed to reschedule, and suggested an alternate date. My daughter reluctantly agreed to the alternate date. However, Amy wrote back saying that she had already given that appointment to someone else, and wanted to delay her 2nd treatment to the following week. I then called Amy and asked her to fit my daughter in during the week that she had originally agreed to, whether that mean coming in early, staying late, or moving someone else's appointment around, all of which she refused. Not only that, but she accused me of being unreasonable and refused to offer a refund for the cancelled service.

Complete and utter lack of customer service and good faith business practices. I've been a repeat…read morecustomer of this location and will no longer be one. I booked a brow wax online for a 6pm appointment. When we were hit with the snow and ice, I was not able to physically leave my driveway. I called the morning of and let them know and planned a reschedule the following day hoping for better conditions. I got emails asking me for how my appointment went (which I found odd) but ignored it. The next day, I still was not able to leave my house, so I called the location the morning of and let them know I would be better off canceling and then rescheduling once the holidays were done and the weather was more stable. To my surprise, a pending $25 was applied to my card. When I called the location to ask why, the woman on the phone told me there was a no-show fee because I did not cancel 12 hours in advance and this was a generous policy bc most places are 24 hours. When I asked her if this policy applied to emergencies, she referred me to her manager, Anne. She gave me Anne's number which I called. It went to VM, so I asked Anne to call me back so I could better understand the policy and if there was some work around to the situation. I never received a call back and the charge went through on my card. Trust me, I understand the reasons for no-show fees and policy but the complete lack of understanding given the winter storm despite my longstanding timely appointments with them is disappointing. I will not be returning again and will find services elsewhere.

She paid close attention to the little details, like going in after to pluck any leftover hairs that didn't come off with the wax. As well as, removing the ingrown hairs and recommending an ingrown hair serum to help for future hair growth. I would definitely come back again and book with her. I have never been to a sugaring/waxing place like this one before and was super impressed. It was such a great experience and I felt so great afterwards knowing that I was well taken care of.

She also handled my Brazilian wax with the same attention to detail (go on, chuckle but that is an area that I expect to be treated with respect). For some reason, this wax didn't hurt as much as my last one (at Wax On). I don't know if it was the wax or the prep. I don't really care. I'm smooth and happy.
