The ciders, the few I tried (they have a LOT to offer) were hard to rate, because they were ALL good. (#Untappd ftw, btw). But my fave, totally the Honeycrisp! Beware the "chips and dip"! If you're not paying attention, you may think tortillas and salsa/guac/quest/beans... But it's POTATO chips and a cream-cheese dip. Surprised? Sure. Disappointed? NO! Delicious. We stopped at The Woods to try the Seattle Cider Company offerings for the first time on a quiet Monday evening. My daughter really loves ciders and upon searching in Yelp for some new (to us) places, we chose Seattle Cider Company. They team up with Bread and Circuses for some great bar food which is another great selling point. We were served by bartender Gus who was super cool and really helped us by describing the ciders in detail and later on he told me the history of Two Beers and Seattle Cider. My daughter and I each had a flight of 4 ciders which is the best way to go. When you find your favorite, you can order a full pour of it to follow. My favorite was the Honeycrisp and my daughter loved the Barrel Aged Marionberry. A close second was the unique Hard Cider Slushie which I had never heard of before. I tried it and it was very yummy. The inside of Woods Tasting Room where we were was laid out pretty well. There is a big common area and some smaller areas up the stairs to the left. You can see the large cider brewing equipment in the background also which adds to the ambiance. There is also a large souvenir area with lots to choose from. And a separate room named Odyssey with several pinball and other arcade games. In the common area, there are Skeeball and Table Shuffleboard games available as well. Overall, this place is pretty cool and just what a cider place should be like. We'll be back one day. read more

The Woods is Seattle Cider Co's tasting room near the industrial district in Seattle. The business was tucked away and didn't look like much from the outside, but inside it was large and lively. There is lots of space inside for seating and playing bar games. There was one person working who was super friendly and helped answer any questions for us. I ordered a build your own cider flight with the basil mint, strawberry slushy, honeycrisp and punchbowl. Delicious ciders, my favorite was the honeycrisp! They have a restaurant inside that serves burgers, sandwiches, salads and snacks. My group decided to share 3 sides, the gnocchi tots, garlic fries, and seasonal salad. They put the cheese on the side to make it vegan and dairy free for me! I loved the food, especially the gnocchi tots because it is so creative and comes with a nice marinara sauce. The garlic fries needed more garlic, and that is my one complaint. I recommend coming here with a group or for a date night, it's a fun and affordable place with some great drinks and food! read more

Looking for a nice spacious brewery in SoDo? Look no further!! This is such a gem of a place and I regret not knowing about them earlier on! They have loads of indoor space and outdoor space.. and also have some or the other food truck outside if you want to try something different.. The food in there smelt amazing too.. Now lets talk about their beers - COLD BREW is my fav (yes I am a coffee lover) and if you are a coffee lover you will love this cider! Next was the grapefruit cider, gin botanical and the berry rose and basil mint were not my types. But I found my new beer love here so I will be coming here over and over again! It was a hot day and the awnings and new facelift hides the parking lot. It was open and airy, so much nicer than before. So good... tasting like a mix of tater tots and mozzarella sticks.. generous amounts of amounts of parmigiana, basil, and garlic with a delicious marinara sauce dip, definitely a must try! Between the wings, gnocchi tots, brews and cider tasting, it was a very satisfying experience. Service was great, friendly and quick on getting the food out and pours quickly. Great seating inside and outside, very reminiscent of one of my favorite Bay Area breweries in San Leandro.. Drakes! Plenty of parking, they have both plenty of ciders AND beer, there are fun bar games everywhere, and the food there is pretty good. This place is about 40-50 minutes away from me in traffic, but I'll still make that trip. There is always plenty of parking around, especially after 5 pm/weekends when all the other businesses are closed. They're located in an industrial looking strip with a bunch of other businesses. The tasting room is big and open. I love the wooden furniture and the decor. There are always tables available which makes it a nice change of pace from the crowded Seattle restaurant scene. They have flights of cider and a good amount of choices. I like their ciders, but some of them are hit and miss for me. I've never had any of the beer, but my friends have always said good things about it. I love that they have darts, foosball, and a curling table. I had a lot of fun just in that area! I've ordered food a couple of times. You order at the window and they bring the food out to you. I had their duck fat fries, but they changed their menu, so it's no longer available which is kind of a bummer. I tried the mac and cheese, made with beer cheese, bacon, and jalepnos, and it was actually really good. The beer cheese was salty, but a good kind of salty. The kind where I couldn't stop eating it. I tried the Olympic Honey cider, it was okay, a little light on flavor honestly. I tried the berry and the basil mint. I liked the berry, and the basil mint was pretty delicious. I'm between a 4 and a 5 on this place! The service is pretty friendly, I would def. give this place a try. Came for a friends 30th birthday on a warm sunny summer evening. I had never even heard of this place and I'm sure glad I was introduced to it! My friends family rented out a private area in the tasting room which was great because we were a pretty decent sized group. There were about 10 tables along the walls of the area and then a long table of catered food from the venue. A friend and I arrived early and ordered a few drinks and lounged our front on the patio in the sun. It was such a cool environment because it's a dog friendly (no minors) place and the weather was so gorgeous it was fun to watch all the dogs living their best lives. I would totally come back to hangout on their patio. It's also in a somewhat secluded warehouse district so you were removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Their menu for beer and cider is HUGE! I was so overwhelmed that I ended up starting with a rosè spritzer to freshen up. The first round was really good, very fruity. The second round of the spritzer smelled like boiled eggs and tasted like it as well. So that sort of turned me off from ordering more spritzers. Not sure what it was, but a few others noticed it as well. I ended up ordering the Pineapple Agave Cider and that was very good. Quite tart due to the pineapple, but the agave sweetened it up in a non overpowering way. Probably the best part of all is that Bread & Circuses has a shop setup here. I can't tell you how many times I've literally chased their food truck around town and given up due to their long lines. But I finally got to try their infamous gnocchi tots (fried gnocchi.... YUM). Their only food offering (from a separate business, adjacently located) is low quality, greasy and unhealthy--reminiscent of what you'd find at a state fair in the 90's. So that was my last visit to Two Beers. :/ I'd been a fairly consistent customer because they were a short drive from my house. We really wanted to check this place out as we stumbled upon their cider in Denver about a half year ago. It was really fun to see the different iterations they had and what they have coming down the pipe. Admittedly, I liked two of the four we got but we sort of went out there trying things we normally wouldn't. As for the place itself, it's in an industrial area where the inside feels more like your classic bar (i.e. dark, pool table). A group of friends and I stopped by after we did the haunted house at the morgue. We all placed our orders seperately and we each got our own table token flashers. While we were sitting and waiting for our food, the guy who took our order dropped off a whole bunch of food at our table. We were confused as to why we were given token flashers if they were just going to drop off the food. But, as we didnt know who ordered what, we just thanked him and he walked away. Long story short. We realized it wasnt our order, so we brought the food back to the counter and explained to him it wasnt ours. He got frustated and claimed it was ours. He rudely said he took all of our orders and that what he dropped off was accurate. So we just ended up taking the food back to our table and ate it. At the this point, each of our table token flashers started to beep. Why? Because our actual orders were finally ready. As we all picked up our food one by one, there were other people who stopped by and said they never got their food. In conclusion, their food was given to us in error. Also the music being played was a bit interesting, it was elevator music. The 'garlic' fries was a bit dissappointing. They basically just drop a small chunk of garlic on top. I love love love the former The Woods / current Seattle Cider Taproom. I've been going here weekly (sometimes multiple times) for years. The service is incredible and the food and drinks are top of the line. Unfortunately in the remodel we lost the tvs. This location has been a top spot for us to watch the mariners games. It now feels like a business center - white walls, blinding lights, all business. It doesn't feel like the spot where we go to catch Seattle sports and kick back with friends and family and enjoy a cold drink. I'm so hopefully they bring the tv and vibe back. Because I hate to walk away from the great service and food. Gus, Larissa, and Mason are top of the line and deserve a raise. This is my new favorite neighborhood place! It has a little something for everyone! Beer, cider, & seltzer plus food, merch, and treats for the dogs! You can get your growler refilled or pick up some cans. I've been here a few times now. It's very convenient to my neighborhood and I love that I can bring my dogs! This place operates as a tap room for Two Beers Brewing, Seattle Cider, and Sound Seltzer, so there's a little something for everyone. They also have a food trucks' permanent location here so there's some great apps, salads, and entrees to be had. I'm working my way through the cider tap list while my husband works his way through the beer one. The frosé they are mixing with the Rosé cider this summer is also a new favorite of mine. They have plenty of board games as well as a pool table to pass the time. They also have plenty of space for your group of friends, but it's cozy enough that you can bring a date and actually have a chance to chat with them. We decided to come here last minute as it was very close to our sodo show box concert. It was a very pleasant surprise. The food menu is really good, we ordered the chicken sandwich (spicy, it has alittle kick) and has a crunch, the mushroom burger which has pickled onions which was an good combo, both burgers served with potato buns. For appetizers we ordered Gnocchi tots and the chicken wings (gochujang flavor). The portions we perfect and both of the burgers packed a lot of flavor so both of them I would recommend. The wings were cooked thoroughly, were sized pretty good and what I mean by that is you don't get mini wings you get like some wings you get at a restaurant and we're super flavorful but the biggest surprise were the gnocchi tots. At first I wasn't a fan but after eat one and another and another they quickly grew on me and were very addictive. As for the beer selection it is very good! From lagers, pilsners, hazys, doubles, porters and ciders they serve a wide variety so you won't be disappointed. Overall the ambience was awesome and the food was great!
