Dr Dinges is very intelligent but the care is not great. They have zero follow through if you need any forms or requests you need to call and remind them multiple times. They don't seem to put the patient first. They seem to be way more concerned with themselves. They never reply to emails. They never upload documents. Zero bedside manner. They don't return phone calls. It is quite unclear who Does what. You definitely will feel like you imposing upon them even though you are the patient. There are few choices in Seattle so I guess this is what we have to accept. read more

There is a reason I have gone to Dr. Dinges for over 10 years. The staff is great and they have a nice, clean office (Parking isn't great but where is these days?) Dr. Dinges is not only very knowledgeable and on the cutting edge in terms of infectious diseases, and the latest news, but also very realistic and honest about what's available and whats's not. Add to that he has been able to help me with everything from my primary needs, to specialty prescriptions, referrals, to cleaning my ears, which took forever and I was soaking wet by the end, but he stuck it out until the issue was solved. To be fair, it is expensive to park. Stay away from the underground lot on Olive Way, it will not always let you out. Being that this is my main Dr's office, I'd say overall a good experience. But... communication is important especially when dealing w lab results and keeping updated w care and future steps to care if any. It seems to be a struggle for them. You have to take time and make the call to check in w them. Which while it is to one's responsibility, I feel that there's a job that needed to be fulfilled which I do. That's including dealing with pharmacies. Services do get cared for but there's no care for the patient anymore. No follow ups... No true care for carrying for the patient. everyone is nice but that's it. So... I get that it's important to be accountable but that goes on them too. That's y the raring. read more

The appointment always starts on time and you never feel like he is rushing through and trying to get to his next patient. The rest of the team is great as well. I visited this doctor once, with a follow-up for testing the next day, for what appears to be some sort of neurological problem. The doctor appeared bright and on-the-ball. The office's vibe is pleasant and chill. But within 2 weeks, I reverted back to my former practitioner out of necessity. This doctor may be exceptionally strong -- I'm not qualified to judge. But the consistent and concerning breakdowns in office/patient communication materially hindered my ability to get the care I needed. Promised follow-up communication never took place. The front desk worker (who was the primary, if not sole, conduit for communicating with the doctor) more commonly posed a barrier towards my getting most important answers I'm used to receiving from physicians for 30 years now. Two weeks after seeing this doctor and completing all tests he recommended -- with symptoms worsening and numerous requests from me for next steps -- I am still left with almost no answer to basic questions such as: What do my medical tests rule out or suggest is the root cause of the problems? What are the next steps you're planning to diagnose it further? Will there be a referral to a specialist? And if you can't answer these questions now, in what timeframe will I receive answers? Although I've rarely felt any frustration with my prior physicians' practices, it was hard not to feel both angry and drained upon each interaction with this office. Overall, I cannot recommend this medical practice. read more

Much like A.B.'s review, I was astounded by what took place in the medical suspension situation, the notifications by email were just giving the allure of needing some time off - at no point were we directly notified of why. The only way I found out what had truly happened was that, in filling out paperwork for a specialist doctor (that I self-referred to as I can per my insurance), I Googled his name to grab the phone number and the WA Board of Health had a press release right at the top of the search indicating what had happened. As a patient, there was an aire of arrogance and I stuck with it as I didn't need much health care and didn't have the energy to find a new doctor - until the suspension stuff happened, of course; and the other nail in the coffin was his perspective on PrEP. He pushes it, HARD. Each visit, he asked "top or bottom," (I'm a gay male) - which, I guess not a bad question, but a little weird when going in for a simple cold or something; and in one case, PrEP was waiting for me at CVS when I had not requested it (and I refused it). Dr. Dinges, no. Don't go here. I will say though, I feel for Brandon, who is his office manager. He has been nothing but kind, accommodating and responsive. I hope that he finds the next best opportunity as he deserves so much more and has a caring spirit. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. Refused to write RX for common antibiotic that i use multiple times a year when I have an internal flare up. Told me "that if i'm having an issue i should seek see a provider or seek urgent care". He is my provider!?!? I use this medicine preventatively so I do not have to go to the ER. He is also hammered at work most of the time and has a serious substance abuse problem. Check his record online, it does not lie. Thats why he was suspended. Stay away! read more
