The latest update being I tried to make some changes to my small business taxes and the IRS responded by telling me that my business was not registered properly (it was missing the correct form to register as an S corp (Eric's recommendation in the first place). Additionally, the IRS forms require a wet signature which Eric never requested from me, so even the forms that were filled out (1120S) were not valid. "...the IRS confirmed that neither 2020 or 2021 are reflected as 1120s, this means ... the IRS has no filings for the LLC." It was already expensive when I paid Eric to file it initially, now I have to pay a new professional to fix it. Lots of money spent and major anxiety and panic that I would have loved to avoid. I could have saved myself thousands if I had done additional research and gotten a personal recommendation. I would never recommend Eric to anyone.

Huddleston CPAs made a grave error on my business taxes in 2022 (not providing or filing a…read morenecessary form) resulting in 5K in penalties that I was then responsible for to the IRS. While the individual employee responsible no longer works at the firm, Huddleston as a business refused to take ANY responsibility for their negligence. When I tried to request a fair settlement from Huddleston--such as receiving a partial refund for the amount I paid for their tax services given that they failed to fulfill their duties--they stopped responding to my messages. When you trust a business with something as important as your financials, you deserve better, and as a fellow small business owner, I am incredibly disappointed in Huddleston CPAs.

I never feel rushed or anything like that. A reminder is sent in December to let you know that you should schedule an appointment or upload all your documents to the SmartVault before the appointment or as a substitute for your appointment. Smart Vault is where they store all your past tax documents, which comes in handy if it's ever needed. This year, I decided to explore the other options and utilized the SmartVault option, so all I had to do was upload all my documents and just wait until Joe get a chance to process it. Joe called me with additional questions. After all said and done, he sent me notification that it's ready to file, and all I had to do was reviewed, signed, scanned, and upload to SmartVault for filing. The invoice for the service is also included, and you can make a payment over the phone with Sally. This is so convenient, and such an innovation way to do your taxes without having to leave the comfort of your home and fight traffic. Super awesome!
