Everywhere, on her website, in the contract itself she says the placement fee is 10% or a minimum fee. Her minimum fee is $6000, we felt blindsided. she buried it in one line in an attachment. Not during our entire exchanges, not on the website, and not even in the actual contract itself. There are enough other businesses you shouldn't have to play games of find the On reflection what I didn't like what she did/didn't do for that price point. 1-only communicated in text or email. Didn't even talk on the phone despite my calling.. 2-Didn't inspect the home. For that price point she should do that. 3-The big one is there was no network, just posted our application on indeed. That was a what the moment for me. In another review complaining about the same thing she replies saying they use multiple resources- I never saw any evidence. And my nanny applied through the indeed posting. 4- Since then I learned there are actual nanny agencies that do payroll and insure Nannie's in house (Jovie). They don't even do that- just refer to a third party and aren't even involved in the setup.

I contacted them periodically by e-mail to see if they'd forgotten I existed. When they finally called just once, it was to inform me of a position I'd already looked into, via my other recruiter, Shelly Langley, who was already on top of it. I had a feeling Shelly would work well for me because she'd been in the business before being a recruiter and was well connected with others in the biz about town. And in interview she just seemed .... shrewd and understanding at the same time. Prudent, I would say. Sharp. End result: I found a job that looked like a good fit - she agreed - and she connected me with the firm that hired me, AND AT MY SAME SALARY level as my former post, which was nothing short of miraculous. I think Shelly is THE BOMB. Don't waste your time with the others. You hunt down something you think you're a good fit for, and if she agrees, you can really do something!

After asking around, all other contract employees with a JD were making $12 an hour more than I was. Kibby thinks this is fine since I was ultimately offered the job, but it's a job that wasn't close to what I was looking for, it's essentially call center work (which Kibby promised it would NOT be.), and after 6 months, because Kibby short changed me, I had made $12,480 less than all my peers with JDs. It's been over a year since I used ESP, my experience still bothers me when ESP comes up in conversation. People with less experience and less degrees coming from different recruiters all made more than me. I can't recommend avoiding Kibby and ESP strongly enough.
