The "off" part because we moved and it became really far for us to come here. Blossoms, in my opinion, is everything you want in a childcare center for young children. I worry that children these days are being pushed to grow up too quickly, and academics are pushed too heavily on children. When looking for childcare for my children, I don't want someone teaching them how to do calculus when they're three years old I would much rather have someone focus on giving my son the love that I'm not able to when I'm working. I want him to have socialization and I want him to be able to do fun activities with other children. And Blossoms is all of that. These factors are far more important than academics! In addition, it's a family environment; the chef and some of the daycare workers are related and it shows me how valued a family environment is. Our son, more than a year ago, was in Colton's class and now Colton is headteacher and I don't have enough words to say how amazing that is. Colton is a kind, loving individual and deserves accolades for being such a good human being. Mariya, one of the other teachers, is also just a beautiful human being. My 3yo asked to be in her class even though she watched the younger kids mostly; he just gravitates to her kind nature. Becky, the director, isn't just invested in your child's schooling; she's invested in the big picture which is psychosocial and emotional growth. This is how Yelp works apparently. Use caution and investigate reviews, the good and the bad. It pains me to write a negative review because the first year our daughter was at Blossoms was great. But these last few months we've had a terrible experience and have recently heard some alarming stuff from other parents. I received a text from the owner Becky, informing us that our daughter is no longer welcome at her daycare because of a "threatening" message I sent to Joslyn and her staff. I have attached the message for all to see. What prompted such a message to her teachers and the owner? First, we received less than 24 hours' notice that our daughter's class was moving to a different building. We were told the space would be bigger and the kids would be happier. Awesome, we can roll with this. But two weeks later we discovered from Facebook photos that our daughter was moved to a different classroom without our knowledge. Prior to us realizing she had been moved, she would come home upset and we had no idea why. She said, "school was scary, there were too many new teachers and kids." We then messaged her school asking for clarity. They flippantly told us she had indeed been moved 2 months ago (which was also untrue) but she is still with the same teachers and students. After further investigation, we realized this was far from the truth. We had been telling our daughter for weeks, it's fine, you're just in a new building. They lied to us again and again. Her teacher refused to meet with us because we were "bullying" her. We are upset parents and asked very directly what was going on. We never received a clear explanation as to why she was moved. Becky the owner again and again said it was because of licensing. Here teacher Joslyn reassured us everything was fine after 2 inquiries about our daughters well-being after the move. It was only after I saw FB posts of our child in a diff class that she revealed that yes, our child was indeed moved to a diff class...2 months ago. Which was also false. After reaching out to other parents, we learned other disturbing facts. Communication completely stopped for weeks not only with us but other parents. We've been called bullies for demanding the truth. Becky repeatedly told us that she is not about academics and that her school is really in the business for drug prevention, whatever that means. Becky and Joslyn are all smiles but when it comes down to the true nature of their business, that's all it is. Profit and business. It's sad that we were treated like this. We know how hard the teachers work. Becky's unprofessional and unethical approach to her business harms not only the kids and families but also her staff.

She's still super close to my little one even though she's in the preschool class. When my daughter joined the toddler and discovery preschool classes, she also had great experiences. The teachers were loving, yet also firm when needed and helped reinforce many of the skills being taught at home. She especially loved Ms, Jennifer (now the center's Asst. Director). Every single day my daughter looked forward giving her a big hug upon arrival. Ms. Ella was equally as special to my little one. We are also very familiar with Ms.Charu, Ritu, and Artuneta. The teachers really work well together to provide the best care daily. The activities are also very engaging. Now my daughter is in the preschool classroom and is being prepared for pre-k nicely. She attends a wonderful phonics class 2x weekly with Ms. Tanzy. Hands down this class has enhanced her letter recognition and writing skills. She's even starting to read words. Ms. Antura, her preschool teacher, incorporates very interactive lessons they keep the kids' attention. I'm 100% certain my daughter will be more than ready for kindergarten when the time comes because of the love and care provided to our daughter and family. Last, Ms. Seema, is the absolute best center director I've ever met. She is very organized, kind, has always been willing to discuss questions or concerns, etc. She is truly a director that's immersed in the activities taking place at the center. I'm just so thankful for Sammamish KinderCare's and would recommend it to any parent looking for a place to care for their child.

We're very happy with the care she has received from the staff since being there. The infant room is nice and large, so the kids aren't always crowded together out of necessity. There are several toys and padded chairs for the babies as they develop from lying around all day to crawling and cruising. Our daughter has bonded most with Miss Anna, Miss Pari, and Mr Victor, it seems like. When we arrive to pick her up she's usually asleep in one of their arms. It feels like we are leaving her with family when we drop her off. The price is good for the area, and we have the added benefit of charging to credit card rather than paying with bank transfer. Since daycare is a significant part of the monthly budget, might as well get some points with your credit card program!

The day of the appointment came and I never received a confirmation email. I called them a couple of times and left voicemail regarding my appointment but no one responded. I logged into Zoom at the agreed upon time and waited for 10 minutes but no one showed. I feel this is very unprofessional. If they are already this poor at attention to detail and responsiveness, I can't imagine safely leaving my infant in their care. This is a reflection of their lack of responsibility.
