A claim was submitted on January 2, 2026, and they have had all required documentation from the start--police report, photos, repair estimate--and they verified that the insured was current. Despite this, more than 30 days have passed and no payment has been issued for minor damages. I have made over six phone calls, only to be given the runaround every time. There is no sense of urgency, accountability, or concern for the people affected by their delays. My assigned adjuster, Rafael Hernandez, has failed to do his due diligence to move this claim toward resolution. Because of this delay, I have been out of work since the accident and cannot return until my vehicle is repaired. Other insurance companies are able to issue checks on the scene or resolve claims quickly--United has done the opposite. This company appears to avoid paying claims for as long as possible, regardless of the impact on claimants. I would strongly discourage anyone from using United Automobile Insurance Company. If you value responsiveness, professionalism, or timely claim handling, look elsewhere.

Then i called a few more times to put a formal complaint about the call and escalate, but all other agents like John and some other guy teamed up to make sure my call didn't go through, and also hung up on me several times. First day of the policy! Great representation of Direct Insurance / Allstate, great service! Hopefully the crappy service ends here.
