This park also has free parking, a restroom and picnic pavilion but it is not lifeguarded. Walton Rocks Beach is also an area of archeological importance. It is a nice big Square Dog Park in the middle of a nice big beautiful Park. The entry area also known as the common area is very big and has a picnic table and a water fountain and poop bag dispenser and a trash can and Gates into both the big and the small dog park. The small dog park is just basically one corner of the big dog park. Walking the interior of the fence line is rather simple as it is very flat. There are plenty of old growth trees as well as interesting items like half buried pipes for your dogs to entertain themselves with. There are a few places to sit and there is plenty of shade!

Fair amount of people (not "just" a dog beach), and as stated previously, never A LOT of dogs. Doesn't feel packed like other dog beaches, and no designated "times" or days for the dog beach (unlike the dog beach at Spanish River Park in Boca). Most people seem aware of their surroundings, but of course you'll meet a difficult owner or nasty dog every now and again. Overall I haven't had any problems (that often come with off-leash areas). Parking seems easy to find no matter what time of the day (couple of parking lots, and lots of street parking), and is FREE!! The water is usually clean and free of seaweed and sea pests. Mosquito repellents do not work for these biting bugs and they swarm at night biting teammates during softball games.
