Worse company ever! Worse customer service! Your products/apps do not work its alway down (looking…read morefor a connection). I had your phone, internet, cable and security service and they don't work CONSISTENTLY, EVEN WITH your POD...my service is constantly down. The touchscreen is always down, the cameras actually don't capture everything AT ALL when they do sometimes work. The internet is extremely slow for the speeds I pay for. You don't have a great peroid for bill pay. I've been without service more than I've had service, BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR SERVICES I DON'T RECEIVE!!! cable box is always down. I have had the modem changed, cameras changed, touchscreen changed.. but still have the same issues. I canceled the phone because without a working wifi the phone is absolutely useless! Oh, but because I got tired of these issues I canceled the phone just to be told my bill will increase. I'm late paying my bill yall add a late fee. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES WHEN I HARDLY HAVE ACTIVE WORKING SERVICES

I am so p/o 'd with Comcast. I have been a customer off and on for years. Last year when I…read morepurchased my own place I signed up with them and was given a 1 year rate. I asked then what happens if it goes up they said you just ask what the new offer is . Well I asked and it's the same new, higher rate that my new bill reflects. I have basic cable, that's about 10 local channels and the lowest level of WiFi and it's over $80 a month. So ridiculous. These are the same channels we got for free before cable and there are still commercials!, and the internet buffers constantly, such a rip off! I went to a Comcast office, he could only offer the same deal I have but gave me a number to call to a "loyalty" dept who after 10 minutes of questions and sales pitches gave me the same offer I already have. I just checked other options and they are not available at my location ( I'm in sacramento co, that seems impossible). so my choice is do without or cave in and pay, knowing it will keep increasing as it has gone up $15 this first year already. Can anything be done about these monopolies, does anyone have any suggestions?!

This starts with the usual caveats that it's a large company that gives you a two year contract…read moreevery time you breathe hard next to the receiver. But, with limited internet, streaming is not an option, so I have been with them for 7 years and 3 houses. I love their service. Now that you don't have to buy a box to transfer recorded shows to your iPad, it makes their service even better. I have the premium and several sports packages. I am totally happy with the value for the dollar. I value my time and I have no desire to buy more equipment and hunt, peck and search for what I want to watch. And then be at the mercy of 18th CenturyLink and their sometimes fast service. I have had one problem with customer service, before they were bought by Liberty Media. They are always responsive and, if you know how, you can get discounts and reduced packages every month. I never have had a technical problem or billing issue that wasn't resolved quickly and in my favor.

DIRECTV needs to just close shop. Everything DIRECTV offers is on streaming. Canceled my service…read moretoday on the 14th and was told that they don't prorate the future billing that ends on the fifth of the next month. So they are forcing me to keep their service for another three weeks and pay them for it. I have to pay for the full month, even though I canceled it less than halfway through. That should be illegal. Five or 10 years from now they'll be defunct anyway. Should happen sooner. Customer for 15 years and always had issues with their boxes or connections or thunderstorms or snowfall. It was always something. Glad to be done with them and that awful dish outside.

I started with Dish Network in March. Since then, I have received two attempts to tack on charges…read more Dish refers to them as "Roll On" charges. The free services they offer as an incentive will AUTOMATICALLY begin showing up in your bill at the end of the promotional period if you don't contact them. They should be sending out an email with an "Opt in" feature to extend the service at a monthly charge. At minimum, they should have an option to "Opt out". But Dish Network knows that making it easy for the consumer will result in low renewal rates. So, they simply tack it onto your bill hoping no one notices or doesn't have the time to go online and have it reversed. When I did contact them via chat, the representative was attempting to convince me to keep the DISH Protect Silver service. I don't think they understood my frustration was the sneaky way they are attempting to bolt on additional charges without an easy way to opt out. Here is the transcript. Me: I just noticed my monthly bill went up $10.00. From 71.02 to 81.02 Jalil: With DISH Protect Silver, you're receiving great benefits like: -$0 Technician Visits ($95 without DISH Protect) -Identity recovery assistance for stolen credit cards, ID theft, and more -10% off Smart Home Services, including TV Installation, sound bars, mesh WiFi, and more. Me: I never signed up for that. I wish Dish would not automatically include these new charges on my bill. If I don't stop and take the time and pay attention to my bill and then reach out to you, I will automatically get charged. Guess that is how it works with a large percentage of people who don't pay attention to their bill. Jalil: I understand that, Robert. No worries, I got you and I can help you with this. Me: This is the second time since I signed up in March that I found a new fee Dish was attempting to get past me. Jalil: But just so you may know, you have this protection plan since you started your service, it's free for last 6 months. Jalil: Also, these free offers are Roll to pay, that said after the free promotion, they will be automatically added to your account. Me: Fine. But why would you automatically add it to my bill? Why not an email asking me? An opt in vs an automatic add to the bill. Do you understand how this appears like a scam? Jalil: I really understand that, Robert, and I would definitely feel the same. But we're sending emails if there's an expiring promo. Jalil: You can check your inbox or spam. If nothing's there, we can update your email address on file if you want. :) Jalil: Going back to DISH protect Jalil: As a Dish Protect customer your equipment is protected, and in the case there is an issue it will be resolved at a discounted price. Jalil: By removing DISH Protect you become subject to: -Full price Technician Visits, currently $95 (free for DISH Protect customers) -Shipping costs associated with replacement equipment (free for DISH Protect customers) Me: I got the email. Look at it. There is a simple statement of the amount I am being billed on 10/8 with a breakdown of the charges. No "Opt In" option that the "roll to pay" is available if I want to extend. Not even an Opt Out. I have to stop what I'm doing and waste time getting these charges removed. I'll stop ranting and publish it so others are aware. Jalil: I understand that, Robert. You're always free to remove it before the end date, you just need to contact us or do it on your MyDISH.com account. Me: Please remove the $10.00 charge. Jalil: Sure thing, Robert! :) As a one-time courtesy, I can remove DISH Protect & waive the $30 removal Fee for you. Jalil: All is set, Robert! :) With the changes made today, your new monthly rate is $71.03 after taxes. Me: No one ever told me there would be a $30.00 removal fee. What is going on? Jalil: It's for removing the DISH protect within XXX days of adding it, no worries, I've got you covered, Robert :) Jalil: Is there anything else that I can help you with? Me: No. Thank you.
