Having seen their ads on social media and the fact we were going to be in the area, we decided to stop by and see what they had to offer. Its a no frills, what you see is what you get plant outlet. Prices are cheaper than the big box stores but might be a few dollars more than some mom and pop shops in the area. I was in the market for herbs and they had a TON to choose from, all priced at $2.99 or $1.00 for others. Quality wise most plants looked well watered and in good shape. Hardly any looked wilted or weathered and there was a good variety to choose from. Staff were very friendly despite a long line of customers, and answered any questions I had. Stock is always changing based on what they can get in so if I'm in the area again I'll stop in and see what they have. I have heard it gets crowded esp on the weekends so go early if you can.

Essentially an Outlet for BloomBox. BloomBox is a local flower delivery service that I've used since its inception. They are a local group of guys with a business model that took off and this lot is full of their overstock or miscellaneous one offs. Prices are good, people are friendly and plant quality has always been good! Just know that when you go, there's no frills and what is available is what is available. They're not trying to impress, it's a lot with well priced plants and they'll be there selling local plants to local customers as long as their lease allows.

It's a no frills plant outlet that is nicer than any Amish country stand. Palm trees, tropicals and prices that are lower than box stores.

They really take it from utilitarian to upscale. With that being said the prices have also increased. The inside is beautifully arranged and is a real treat to look at and source inspiration. The first room houses many varieties and sizes of houseplants and unique ways and products to grew them. The two greenhouses are more for flats, seasonal plants, and bushes. They also sell plant arrangements ready made if you're not confident enough to arrange yourself. Additionally they have a good variety of outdoor plants and bushes, supplies, pots and tools. Pricing is more than going to your local garden center but you're paying for aesthetics, although all of their plants did look healthy. Since they were closing and I didn't purchase anything so I can't vouch for customer service. I'd return for the inspiration and if I needed an unusual plant, but will probably stick to my regular garden shop for better priced basics.

Leabrook Farms is a place I could see from 283 but never really knew how to get there to access it. It's a few miles off State Rd., on Leabrook Rd, and you can't miss it. A storm was brewing that day when I arrived so I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked. Every plant was 50% off, even ones already on sale were not excluded from the sale. They had annuals, perennials, succulents, houseplants, and arrangements. I was in awe. Tables and tables of plants in good condition, small and large + a few greenhouses. I filled a wagon and had I had a larger vehicle would have gotten more. Some of my favorite scores were the succulents, a decent size, all $1 and some change after the discount. I also scored a massive mostera plant for less than $10 that at Lowes for that size sells for $64. In hindsight I wish I would have bought them all for resale and made a few bucks. While many of the plants were labeled, there were many more that were not. Since I'm looking more for low light houseplants, a label identifying the plant and care instructions would have been helpful for many of the items I bought. The plain (Mennonite) employee there said they came from an auction and she didn't have any information. Also some of the prearranged plants in ceramic containers had chips, and or appeared to be used, like they picked them up at a thrift store. Not that I'm opposed to that, but some weren't in the best of shape. I made it out right before the storm, barely, with a car full of plants in tow. I would visit them again even at full price, but most definitely at their 50% sale. Since they are plain owned and operated no Sunday hours.

The kitty there is to die for, the absolute sweetest and good prices I will be returning:)read more
