To say I'm impressed with Dr. Kwan's skills is an understatement, I saw him for two problems: essential tremors that I have had for over five years and had gotten worse; and, total loss of taste and smell that began three years ago after covid. After a single one hour session, the tremors were reduced by 80 - 85%% , and my taste and smell returned almost immediately. I had excruciating back and leg pain cause by sciattica back in March. I needed muscle relaxers and pain killers just to sleep. Within two weeks (two treatments per week) I was much better, and was able to walk, drive, even SLOWLY ride a bicycle without pain. Within two months, I was basically cured and pain free. Aaron is a wonderful wonderful practitioner. He really gets to know you and wants to understand your issue on a personal level. He cares greatly about his patients you can see and wants to do what is best for them. I've been having acne problem ever since I was a teen and it seemed getting worse year after year. I've tried different acne treatment products, seen dermatologists, gotten facial care and some have worked temporarily but none of them really cured my acne. Dr. Hwang started my treatment from asking questions about what type of pimples and breakouts I usually get, what allergies I have, what food I usually eat and so on. He gave me a list of food to avoid and what not, recipes for detox drinks and facial masks. He also had me keep a food journal so that I can track and share with him what I eat everyday. He paid attention to even small details and based on the information I gave him he prepared medicine and facial sprays to calm the inflammation on my skin. He explained how they work differently to treat and cure not only what appears on skin but also what might have been causing it from inside such as digestive organs and hormones. After taking the medicines and the acupuncture treatments (which were so relaxing!) my skin had improved A LOT. I don't have the huge, painful zits on my jawline anymore and the redness on my cheeks are almost gone, too. I highly recommend Dr. Hwang as I have never had a more personalized medical experience. I have been suffering from Migraines for all my adult life. My Neurologist had me on a whole host of muscle relaxers and medications. I was in constant pain and a week away from getting nerve dampeners and Botox injections to stop the headaches. I made a last-minute decision to call Dr. Hwang and try acupuncture. Before I had my consultation, Dr. Hwang made sure my insurance approved my visits so that I wouldn't have any nasty or stressful monetary surprises, which I greatly appreciate. He hears exactly what pain you are experiencing, how long you have been experiencing it for, and then he tells you what sort of treatment he would like to give you and why he feels it is the effective treatment for your condition. Ever since I grew up, I always dealt with indigestion and stomach pain. I tried many different kinds of western medicines but none of those addressed the chronic pain and discomfort. I can absolutely say that being treated by Aaron was a defining point in taking control of my personal health and wellness.
