These guys took my wife's credit card details over the phone (without mentioning any T&C's) and took full payment up front. They then cancelled at the last minute on the day of her trip after she'd taken the day off work, driven to Lulworth Cove and paid for a day's parking. They offered no apology.
She phoned again today to ask if she could add a 3rd member to her party and go kayaking today - the guy said 'sure' and took her card details again to take another £50 - he then "remembered" that they were full today. He refused to refund the money he'd already taken and when I spoke to him he started shouting at me and hung up the phone.
Had they offered an apology and a refund, we'd most likely have considered making another booking with them, instead I'll be contacting my credit card company and trading standards. read more
