I highly recommend their pedicures and they do an excellent job on gel or acrylic with gel nails! Other nail shops I've gone to in Draper, who have done my acrylics or gels the acrylic nail often one would come off on one or more nails would chip however I have been going here for my services about a year and I never had any problems if they are long, lasting acrylic gel nails and I do regular nail polish color with my pedicures! To me, this means they use quality products. They also are very sanitary. Everything is in sealed pouches and they have a sterilizer. I'm always happy when I walk in thus nail shops and greeted with a friendly hello, they all know my name and they are very welcoming to all that walk-in for services ! Moon and Pat are two of the best in both pedicure, manicure and acrylics/gel! I've only had someone different doing my pedicure on one visit. Second, worst pedicure, manicure sessions we have ever had. As a male, the thing I love the most is the massage. For the pedicure, my massage lasted maybe two minutes. I told him that I liked my nails cut very close and I ultimately had to ask for the clippers myself as either they did not understand English, or simply did not want to do it. Which leads to our problem with the manicures. My filing at the edge of my nails was hilarious... Virtually none done. And my wife asked multiple times not to trim her cuticles as he was going to deep. Again, he either did not understand English or simply did not want to stop and ultimately brought blood to multiple nails. Seriously, second worst experience ever. read more

Not a great experience today. Moon is always very thoughtful but today she had another do the foot / leg massage. It was very apparent the gal had no experience in doing massages. I then received Luke warm wet towels rather than the typical hot. I had booked online and got a price 1 hour before my appointment. The price was $5 higher for my pedicure. My mother in law took my niece and I to get pedicures a few weeks ago on a Monday afternoon. I didn't even know there was a salon here to be honest. We had an appointment for 3:30pm, we walked in, they asked us to go wash our hands in the sink and then we waited about 15 minutes before we were seated in the pedicure chairs. It kind of seemed like they overbooked themselves/ didn't have enough employees, but also the duration we were there 5-6 people walked in and didn't have appointments so, that could have something to do with it. My mother in law had her toes done first while my niece and I just sat there watching. Eventually my niece was attended to and then myself. I do feel that because there were so many walk ins that our pedicures did feel rushed which bothered me because it's the same price no matter how much time they spend with you. I also don't feel like they were very accommodating for my 6 year old niece, they didn't move the chair up for her or offer anything to try and make her more comfortable in the adult sized seats I think my main beef with the situation was that if I have a scheduled appointment, I expect to be helped before a walk in person. And if you don't have enough workers to accommodate all the walk ins, maybe ask one or two to come back later, or on another day. It's honestly not hard to call ahead to ask what times a salon has open, but I also understand that it puts the salon in a weird spot to turn someone away. Anyway, not a terrible experience, and the place was clean. But the time management didn't look good. I didn't enjoy the feeling like we were rushed through our scheduled appointment time. I don't think I'll personally be back again, but I suppose if you don't like making appointments, they don't turn away walk ins.... read more

I have been a patron @ Secret Nail for over 5 years...... they are in a high end location and have airways given excellent service. Lately not so much. My last 2 visits my mom & then my friend had the wrong color put on their nails & with my friend all the tech needed to do was trek her the color was no longer available! But the male tech could not communicate well enough to relay this info. I will give him credit for fixing the problem but it cost us another half hour of our time. Also their color samples are getting pretty haggard looking with many of them badly chipped & many not available. For a higher end boutique in a higher end location I would think someone would recognize the need to reflect that. I really am considering finding a new salon to patronize. Very disappointed. Me and my friend went here and asked for a fill and a repair. As soon as we got there we knew we fucked up haha. But in all seriousness they charged us through the roof. Starting with a fix it was 50 dollars. They kept adding on the price for unreasonable things. In total it costed 70 dollars !! I could have gone somewhere else and gotten a full set of nails. They were very aggressive with our nails and nicked us multiple times. We understand we are all not perfect and it happens but usually when you start bleeding that's a sign to stop. Worst pedicure i have ever had. I was on my lunch break with limited time. I sat for quite a while and was unable to get my nails done also (gel). He kept trying to upgrade me and the i kept explaining i ran out of time and the guy was so disappointed. The more i politely declined upgrades the worse my treatment got. It already wasn't good to begin with. I was still hoping to get a manicure and he clearly didn't want to do it. I have gone to Secret Nails for years, but last week my Mom and I went in for pedicures and not even a week later I decided to take my polish off because I didn't love the color and I noticed a raised white spot on one of my toe nails that was not there when I got the pedicure. So, so disappointed. Went in for pedicure and powder dip nails. The paint on my toes is on my skin and polish is bumpy on my toe nails. My cuticles were barely touched on my fingers or toes. My feet are still dry, rough and cracked. Then to top it off the lady handed me a bottle of lotion for my hands. Umm, no. Not one drop of lotion rubbed into my hands. Secret nails is my favorite place to get my nails/toes done! I've been going to them for over 6 years. They are always so friendly and really take their time on you. However, I don't really care for the skinny guy that works there. He ALWAYS rushes through everything, isn't very friendly and is very rough!! My mom and I went one time and I started getting my nails done before her and he had my mom and she was done before mine. And he was reaching her feet all over the chair instead of switching positions himself. Hopefully he reads this and can change his ways for the next person... When I first walked in they asked me to pick a color and there was plenty to choose from! I loved it. The wait wasn't too bad. I came in for a pedicure and shellac manicure. The guy that worked on my pedicure was a little rough and I came out bleeding at the toe a little and he kinda knicked me good scrubbing on the side of my foot. So I think he should learn to slow down a little or be more careful. But the lady who did my shellac was very great and she did a marvelous job and asked how I wanted them filed etc and kept asking my preferences. I would give them a 2 cause of the whole pedicure issue.. but I feel bad cause the girl did an amazing job on the manicure. So I'm gonna settle on a 3. Normally the experience is ok, but I just had a poor experience. I set an appointment to get a pedicure that was well in advance, when I arrived for the appointment they had given my spot away, it wouldn't have been so bad, but than I had to wait 20 minutes to get my pedicure, and my pedicure was cut short because they were trying to take care of walk in's at the same time... The only thing I would change a little different, is if they would not rush the hand massage to get to their next customer. I booked a fairly last minute pedicure for my daughter and myself (maybe 2 hours in advance). I was pleasantly surprised with how well we liked our pedicures. The place is kind of your typical non-spa nail salon. They have probably 10-12 chairs for pedicures. At first I was a little wigged out that men were doing our pedis. But they did a great job and were super friendly. It did take a while for them to get started on us, which bothered me a little because we had appointments, but it ended up not being a real problem. They kept taking walk ins and did their best to keep up. The foot massage was very long and enjoyable. They did the dip in wax too. The best part was that it was only $25 for a spa pedicure. My daughter added on shellac for I think $20 extra. I will definitely take my girls here again. read more

Went in to have a "chip" fixed. Just needed a little side fill in with product on one nail. Not even polish on the nail. Said "they were closed" when it was only 6:45 and they close at 7:00.. Instead of just fixing it really quick because the only customer they had had just gotten up from a table they offered glue and gave excuses as to why they couldnt do it..seriously a two minute job and no customers in the salon. That's why I go to Kim at "CREATIVE NAILS" which is close to them. Since they were in a hurry to leave I explained "no polish needed and I would even file it myself" . Nope, wouldn't do it.
