I love getting pedicure and specific the deluxe because they massage your legs and do a hot towel around your feet. A gel pedicure lasts a good 6 weeks if not more. Went with some friends: got dip manicures 1) did not receive the manicure part of the manicure (soak, cuticle cut, etc. Except lotion at the end) 2) my friend got red and was left with a bunch of excess dip powder around her nails and asked the technician if she could remove it; the technician told her that wasn't included in the manicure, but she would do it some this once. For my nails, I got cut with the drill a few times when she was buffing my nails, and did have some excess top coat that I drew attention to and they fixed all of my top coats after. The dip powder itself it just very thick, and I did have excess dip left under my nails they didn't remove after either. Though me and my friends nail inconsistency, our third friend did receive a full manicure and clean up job and hers look great. read more

I went as a newbie to Utah and I got a full set of nails on Saturday and Wednesday I was at Walmart buying superglue for my nails because 2 came right off. I have been to several different shops that do nails because I am a traveling Federal Inspector and I have been to many states and I have to say that I was pretty surprised that they fell off after 4 days .. Okay. I had my nails done here before and liked them. Recently I went to have my hands and feet done for my wedding. My hands were great! However it seems that those working on my and my friend's feet were being trained. One of my toes was left cut, I was given only one coat of paint, and no topcoat for protection, which later was evident. Now I have an ingrown toenail that is very painful. When my best friend and I arrived for our scheduled pedicures, the first thing I noticed was how clean this salon is! Everything is very well kept up and tidy. They were a bit understaffed so they didn't make our appointment time. So we rescheduled and went next door to eat. When we came back, they were so apologetic and kind about the fact that they were unable to get to us at our first scheduled time. They gave us amazing pedicures. Their chairs had great massage features, the water was the perfect temperature, and they were so amazing at foot massages. We both almost fell asleep. It was so relaxing. Our toes look super cute and our feet feel so nice. It was very pricey, though. Spending $70 once all is said and done just to get toes done feel excessive, but we are glad we went. read more

If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I went to Salt Lake Nails on July 18 for a gel x set and the experience was fine. One lady did the nail application and the another lady did the art design. However on July 21st, two of my nails had already come off. Who ever did my nail application didn't do a great job and by the 5th day all of nails had come off. I'm sorry but I would've rather stick with cheap press on nails from Walmart than pay $90 including tips for nails that fall off the second you leave the salon. However the lady who did my nail art, Lupe was truly a delight and she maybe the experience more enjoyable! read more

I had been going to a nail tech for over a year that I would only give simple designs. I wanted my nails to have the best shape over anything else. She would rush me and skip over steps while also making me wait 20 mins for the previous client. I wanted a simple natural pink set and she told me that she would do a powder. The set turned out clear and looked like I had grown out shaped nails. Her colleague knew what I wanted and suggested a color which she didn't have but let her borrow it. I left feeling upset and frustrated. I let my nails grow out before finding the first and closest nail salon to me. I was pleasantly surprised with Khai at Salt Lake Nails. She did the same set for me and even better. She took her time and made sure each nail was the perfect shape and was very sweet. She also gave me tons of options for me to see before choosing the right color. She was also the same price as my last lady who I would drive 30 mins for and now Salt Lake Nails is 8 mins away from my house. I have gone and got Gel X nails done for the last three months at Salt Lake Nails because my real nails were in really bad shape due to some medication I am on and two of my fingers nail had fallen off half way . I really didn't know what to do but I called and made an appointment and Sheila ended up helping me!
