This is a great place to go shop. Name brand apparel at very good pricing. The store is clean and has great customer service.

THIS GOODWILL IS AN ABSOLUTE NO! There's not enough room on here, and a complete waste of my time…read moreto communicate what all is wrong with this place. But apparently the management has fallen off the turnip truck! For a NONPROFIT who wants to keep the landfills from filling up and recycling "another man's treasure" and helping those who have limited budgets- they need to rethink their pricing! ESPECIALLY if you can go to big box stores and purchase items for 50% LESS opposed to purchasing at THIS particular store. I was floored to say the very least. Examples: 2 diamond art painting kits- their price: $4.99/go to Hobby Lobby and purchase the EXACT same kit for $3.50! Plain clear glass vases for arrangements-their price $5.99/ go to The Dollar Store and purchase the exact same vase for $1.25! Or go to At Home and purchase other bigger vases for less than the $19.99 prices they had! A framed generic picture (not art work- A PRINT) in a plastic frame $44.99!!! My lesson for the day: I will NEVER take another item to this Goodwill store and more than likely any goodwill store if this is how they want to support a community. Even if it is a couple of miles from my home and convenient! I'll go out of my way to support another charity- donating and purchasing! This was an eye opener and it really disappointed and saddened me. I truly hated to give this review but BUYER BEWARE. PS: The Goodwill store in the Brier Creek area has some better prices and IMHO better selection. And I spent money there! So much for not wasting my time. Maybe management will see this scathing review and so something about it. But I doubt it.

Nice selection of books and clothing. The clerk was friendly and helpful and I would visit again.read more

I love checking out thrift stores for that "OH MY GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND THIS!" feeling. It's…read moreslightly addictive and much better then alternative addictions (plus much cheaper). I thought I'd check out Faith Thrift Store as I pass it once a week on my commute and I can't leave a thrift store undiscovered. It's in a more run down part of Durham in a strip mall that I wouldn't usually frequent. However, I always feel braver when on a mission and love exploring new places so I gave it a shot. It's a small shop to begin with and is separated into three areas, with the majority of the space taken up by clothes. In fact, it's so full of clothes in the "clothes" section that you can't fit through the racks without hitting more clothes. There's a handful of shoes, kitchen goods and even less books (surprising as most thrift stores have an overabundance of books!) and in the back room there is an odd collection of furniture. The prices are a little higher then Durham Rescue Mission, a small end table costing about $15 here whereas you could easily find the same quality furniture for $10 at DRM (plus DRM offers coupon discounts). I did find about 10-15 extra large mirrors for $20 a piece, I'm currently in the market for a mirror just like this so I had that jackpot feeling. So, if you're in the market for a really large mirror, look no further, you'd probably want to paint the frame, but I got you covered thrifter friends! Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of your way to come here, unless you're really into clothes thrifting.
