I had previously visited their San Francisco location a few years back and had a great experience there (purchased a few items that were AMAZING), so I was actually excited to visit this location and was expecting to have another positive experience. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, and asked to show our IDs. We were also asked if we needed anything and we explained that we were just going to browse. As I walked around the store, I noticed other customers coming in who were not asked to show their IDs. Seeing that made me uncomfortable and left me wondering why we were asked while others seemingly weren't. The employee who initially asked for our IDs was no longer on the floor afterward, so I'm assuming she may have been in the back. Regardless, the interaction left me feeling singled out and as though I was being watched closely from the moment I walked in. That made me hesitant to make a purchase because I don't want to spend my money somewhere where I feel judged or uncomfortable. Overall, the store has a great variety of products and seems to have something for everyone, which I really love. I would like to come back because I really like what the store has to offer, but I'm hesitant after this experience. If you're going to ask one person to show their ID. Then you should ask everyone despite if you think they are of age or not! That should be a store policy and not just to single people out because you may THINK they are going to steal or not!

He called me very quickly and the conversation was so different from the other places I spoke with! Instead of just laying out "here's how it works, here's what you get for this price," etc., he asked a lot about what I was looking for, what I hoped to get out of it, my motivations or inspirations, etc. That personal touch carried throughout the experience. He consistently made an effort to understand what I was looking for--from the planning process to the photo shoot to going through the photos afterward--to make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. The photos themselves are absolutely awesome. It's incredible the different looks and feels he creates in a relatively small studio. More importantly, he just has an incredible eye for what is going to look good and how to create looks, moods, etc. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and I think that shows in the final product. Everyone who has seen my pictures has been blown away. He's way more than just a photographer; he's a true artist. Never in a million years had I ever imagined having a giant naked photo of myself on my wall, and yet here we are...and everyone who's seen it has been amazed. Can't recommend him highly enough!

Even though it's much more expensive to go to them, I wanted to support a small business. A worker placed the product on hold, my friend went to pick it up. They said there was some issue because the product got misplaced, no problem. They said they found it. My friend gets the binder, I open it and realize it's long. I can't use it because it would aggravate my stitches. I was clear on the phone that the binder would be used as a post top surgery garment when I initially called - my friend called them back to let them know there was a mistake. They said to come back the next day. They refused to offer a refund or a store credit. I can understand if it was a sex toy, but this is an article of clothing. You can put it on a hanger and sell it. It was completely unworn, with the original receipt. The assistant manager and manager were fake nice, lied about telling me the binder was long, and condescending. It was completely uncalled for and rude. This was handled so unprofessionally.

It had been going on for a month and I didn't want to doubt the facts anymore. On a Friday after work, I pulled up to Bay Street in hopes of being measured and sure enough, my band size was smaller. Band size down, cup size up. I believe the woman who helped me was named Liz. She let me know about the promotions going on, which at the time was $10 off of a bra if you've tried it on and with the purchase of a bra, panties are $5. So I loaded up and got nearly thirty panties and 2 new bras + the free tote with $100 purchase. The selection of bras was as expected - I knew I would see something I like and have to order online, or worse, seeing the bra that you like in-store but it's the size you want to get back into. So I ordered that bra online. With all of these store closures I'm grateful to still have a VS near me. I can't buy everything online! It isn't feasible. All the staff was courteous and willing to help.

I researched different photographers and Andrea caught my eye for 2 reasons: her beautiful, timeless and elegant photos and her dialogue around doing a boudoir photo shoot. She starts with introspective questions about what you want to portray in your photos. She nurtures a healthy body image along the way and makes you feel your best from the inside out. That is truly her magic. The day itself was so special where I got to step out of my normal routine and into the routine of a super model. Andrea and her team had every detail worked out, so I could just relax and go with it. I visited Andrea again to review the photos to choose my favorites. There were too many and I ended up making the book bigger to solve that "problem." The end product is two books (boudoir + fine art) full of beautiful, professional photos.
