Went to this store to cash a class action settlement refund check. After taking my information,…read moressn, etc., I was "signed up" for a prepaid card to which I was not told about until after it was declined because of a technical glitch. Absolutely not mentioned and any normal person assumes they are going to cash the check and give you cash. She ended up doing so which begs the question why sign you up for something without mentioning it? So now what I assumed was a local business with my information just became a national prepaid chain with zero provable security in an age where, well sheesh, the class action check im cashing here is for a data breach! Like clockwork a month or two later the first fraudulent activity began with someone signing up for an apple account in my name and using my email. The end result is that I had to lock my credit down across all three bureaus because Tilecia or the company probably makes a bonus for signing up customers. The red flag was so big for me when I found out she attempted to create a card account for me I actually after having went into the parking lot to leave went back in and had a further chat about it and my information to which she told me I asked for their help and essentially told me to be grateful. What compelled this review is out of nowhere I received a call from them today, which shows you the telemarketing drive for a friggin check cashing service. Like seriously? Why are you calling me? The part that made this call super suspicious is it came less than 48 hours after I locked my credit. Whatever it is you think you need them for, you don't; find another solution or be prepared for what's to follow. They apply BS penalty charges to your account for mistakes they make - worst loan holder EVER. They don't even deserve one star
