Many of the 1-star reviews here resonate with my own horrible experience working with this lender. Look at their profile at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and look at the profile on Ripoff Report. First, shame on any equipment manufacturer, for recommending Ascentium just so they could make a sale. I worked with Jason Wise at Ascentium who emailed me an amortization schedule with payoff amounts for each month of my 60-month loan term. He promised me that when it came time to payoff the loan, I would only have to pay the amount on the Amortization schedule. But when I wanted to payoff the loan early, they did not stick to the amortization schedule and instead came up with a payoff amount that was thousands of dollars more than the amount specified on the amortization schedule that Jason Wise provided me. I have email trails and other evidence of this. I would strongly advise anyone considering borrowing money from Ascentium to carefully consider the experience I (and others) have had with them.
