I've been in Vancouver for over 10 years and have moved like over 4 times. I had tend to find that there had to be at least a little bit of issues with other moving company's in the past. After our 3rd house we were very picky with which moving company we should call. We were running out of time to pick so the decision was to pick a moving company which sounded as reliable as it could get "Secure Moving". They showed up at our house at about 9:00am in the morning. Let me mention that I was very surprised on how this compared to our previous times, because they were so professional and quick, and very committed and focused on what they were doing. I had never had any of my moving in the past be this quick. Me and my wife were so shocked cause there wasn't any little issues that we could recall with these movers, unlike our other experiences in the past. They had such great pace and a very great friendly attitude as a team. We can now officially rely on having a well organized moving company to look forward to calling anytime we are looking to move. When my company asked me to move to its Lower Mainland location, I got goose bumps just by the thought of packing, moving and settling all over again. I went through an extensive recce searching for the best movers who would do an impeccable job and don't let me move my fingers. I guess I found my soul mateas far as packing and moving is concerned. The way they started packing initially got me worried as these guys were really fast but eventually I realized that they are efficient,well-organized and know their job well. They were considerate of my fragile and expensive items and every move of theirs screamed of professionalism and training provided well. My stuff was insured by them and there was no fees charged for that. In fact, there was no hidden fee at all. They were punctual and finished the job within the time frame that they promised. Secure Moving is the most professional moving company I have ever had the fortune to deal with. Me and my husband recently bought a condo in Downtown, and we obviously needed manpower to move our things from Langley. Despite having bad experiences in the past with moving. They were fairly reasonable in pricing. Not a cheap moving company that's for sure, but price was fair. Secure Moving had no hidden fees, and were very straightforward with us when it came to an estimation. I loved how they sorted and organized our furniture in their trucks. I have never seen such professionalism out of a moving company. The moving took 4 hours. The move was quick, but not too rushed. As they were very protective with our furniture. When the movers and I finally got to the condo in dt. I wasn't expecting them to sort my furniture out the way I wanted. It was very respectful, and I appreciate that the movers were quick and efficient enough to finish a move within 4 hours, but at the same time remain protective of our furniture. What an amazing experience. This company has been fantastic, totally came to my rescue when a company I had hired cancelled on moving day. Secure Moving stepped up and moved mountains for me to make sure that my move happened the next morning. I cannot say enough great things about Maz who talked me down when the other company bailed the afternoon of an out of town move, he was empathetic and genuinely kind not to mention his amazing communication throughout the afternoon as he scrambled and basically pulled a miracle to get a full move booked the next day... awesome embassador for the company. Been a great experience with this company. They gave me an excellent price for my move from Downtown to Northvancouver. From day one, they were responsive via both email and phone, with no question going unanswered. I even had to move my pick-up date several weeks earlier than originally expected, and they were able to accommodate with no problem. On pick-up day, the guys sent me a text on their trip out to my house to update me on their arrival status (little things like that are what really make the difference!) When they arrived, they were fast and efficient with getting everything loaded and taken away. They were courteous, professional, and explained everything very clearly. My company has been using Secure Moving for about a month to pick up orders from a warehouse and deliver to our facility. As no other company was willing to handle the load, Secure moving made sure we would be taken care of. I have no issues in communication with the company & specifically, Maz & Ivan have been a joy to deal with. Maz is very flexible, easy going, & understanding. He will leave the office if need be in order to make sure a move is going well or to fix any hiccups. Secure Moving made my move from Staten Vancouver to North Vancouver that much less stressful. They were very friendly and patient when I called with my many questions. Secure moving gave us a very competitive rate for a move from East Van to Squamish, which included pick ups of furniture at a friend's garage and a storage locker, as well as the entire house, of course. Maz and his crew were on time, hard working, efficient, professional, and easy to work with. Absolutely "Secure Move". We had a quick turnaround for our move on one of the busiest times of the year and Bob was able to slot us in and arrange storage until delivery. The movers covered all the furniture and dismantled some that we hadn't done then they almost ran while working for 5 hours or so and never slowed the pace. Maz, Zack and Matt did an exemplary job on the move out and again on the move in. They went above and beyond in our opinion and nothing was damaged. Excellent, professional service. We made a last minute booking the day before the move and everyone was more than accommodating. By the following afternoon all our stuff was moved. Bed was wrapped in plastic at no extra charge, staff were all very polite and friendly. And even shuffled furniture around for us at the new place to get it exactly where we wanted it. I had movers within my apartment. The crew was helpful, effective and constantly working. They finished my furniture packing in about 1⁄2 hours and took it to their warehouse. All of my furniture was wrapped up and rolled up in blankets and taped the blankets. My furnishings have been brand new and I was comfortable and sure that every piece is in perfect shape when I will unwrap it. The prices are reasonable too.
