Richard and His company have done 2 moves for me and they went so well I booked and paid for his company to move my Mom and Dad into their retirement apartments. I also had them help move my son, who is a person with disabilities into his new suite and he had all sorts of specific issues and requirements about the move and they guys were amazing and patient with him - fulfilled ever requirement perfectly. There are many choices but I am glad that I picked Go Truck Go. Dave and Gearoid work fast and efficient. They are friendly and also offer good advices to make the whole process so much more smooth. Let's face it, moving sucks. Luckily companies like this one make it a bit less sucky. Richard was very prompt with his responses and was helpful when I asked a million and one questions. I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. We used go truck go for our move during the pandemic. Sean was extremely responsive and accommodated us on dates, times, movers and truck required. The move was quick and easily. They arrived on time with the equipment expected and the move was completed within 2 hours. You can get supplies from them as well and they offered us a free mattress cover so that was very much appreciated. Of course, with any move, the more prepared you are the easier the process would be. We had everything packaged and wrapped by the time they arrived so everything was smooth sailing. Their pricing is extremely competitive as well and at the time of our booking it was actually cheaper than other quotes on the market. The short: - tried them once in Feb 2021, highly recommend them and will definitely use them again - movers: Jason, David, and Mel; and coordinator: Sean made my move not just easy but joyful The long: - Sean helped me with quotes and coordination, and we fairly responsive - they helped me move from a 2-bedroom apartment in Vancouver to a townhome in Coquitlam - movers arrived on time - all items were moved safely and efficiently (3.5 hours of move time excluding travel time of 1 hour) - I was very happy to see a company which encourages female movers. Mel is the first female mover I came across in my experience with 5-7 moving companies. Mel mentioned that she has rarely come across female movers as well, and the moving industry and certain customers do not seem to be very inclusive of female movers. - Jason (the lead/driver) kindly waived the stair fee as I had limited stairs and very few items that were moved across stairs - low rates relative to other companies - good covid measures: movers wore masks - movers took care to keep the carpeted areas clean by taking their shoes off - movers were very nice to talk to and joyful. These guys are terrific! Right on time on moving day, they worked professionally and took care of all the small details too. All 3 guys were very friendly (funny too!), hard-working, a great team, and they had us all moved out of our 11th floor 2 bdrm unit and into a 3rd floor condo 5km away in only 3 hrs and 15 minutes. And, there wasn't even a scratch on any items, or on any doors or walls (they use blankets and wrap on almost everything). Very impressive! Price was exactly as quoted, no surprises. Could not have been more impressed with this company so am leaving a 5 star review. I tried their user friendly website to submit an estimate request, Sean got back to me right away with a very fair quote. Two super polite and friendly Irish gents showed up on time (called me 15 mins before arrival to allow me time to get ready) shook my hand and got straight to work. The two of them emptied my entire apartment in less than 1.5 hrs it was amazing to watch. Although they worked quickly, everything was wrapped and transported with respect and care. I had a lot of very fragile and valuable items but every single piece arrived to my new home without a scratch or ding. I'm gonna spread some Yelp love to a small local business. We used Go Truck Go based on the stellar Yelp reviews and we were not let down. The guys (Jake and Curtis) showed up right on time and were all around great guys (no sketchy dudes here). They took great care with our glass hydraulic table to ensure that it didn't get damaged, wrapping it securely in plastic to make sure that no parts moved, then wrapping in blankets to protect it further. Contacted Go Truck Go for my move last Friday after reading their great Yelp reviews. The guys were really funny and friendly, and they did a good job. The reason behind my 4 stars rating and not 5 stars (sorry!) is because of the following: - they were late because they left the lights on on their truck the night before, so it wouldn't start in the morning - I had to jump their truck a couple of times because their lift drained their battery - the move took longer than anticipated because I have a lot of stuff, yet there wasn't much hustle at the get-go - the end of the job was a little disorganized with the truck leaving to start another job, third mover coming to unload and take second mover to the next job, and then coming back for payment - original driver left with all my keys So really, the only reason why I didn't give them the fifth ninja star is because the whole move was a little disorganized. Being an event planner, and working with a lot of different vendors and such, and understanding that things don't always go seamlessly, the whole thing could have gone a lot smoother. But in the end, as I said, the guys were great and got the job done! And I appreciate the fact that they're a local start-up and have a solid green initiative. read more

Price was very reasonable, and the price we were quoted was the price we paid. They showed up on time and handled our stuff with the greatest of care and didn't cause a single smidgen of damage to our new house, despite its tight corners and dated, not-open-concept room design. They were super friendly to my dog, who is very uncomfortable around strangers. I really liked the guys at Go Truck Go! I moved from Seattle to Vancouver, so I had one moving company pack the truck, I drove it, then I had to find movers to unload. After reading reviews on Yelp, I chose Go Truck Go. They came within the time frame they promised. The two movers who came were careful and efficient in their movements and very careful about taking off their shoes (typically, it was raining lightly). They had suggestions when I asked about placement (this is an old, three level townhouse) and they also helped fix some things that were wobbly. They put together the bed and other helpful bits. Awesome experience with Go Truck Go during our recent move. Sean and his team were all super friendly, truck and guys showed up right on time, and even though we had a ton of stuff, they managed to fit it all in one trip, as well as use one of their personal cars to transport a few straggler items. The only reason Im not giving 5/5 is because a few items were broken, likely due to the truck being packed so full. This wasent a huge deal as they were both fairly cheap IKEA items anyway, and to make up for it, they deducted the half hour travel time. I needed to find people to move my couch (heavy sofabed, and unfortunately do not have friends that strong). Go Truck Go offers deliveries and were the first ones to reply to me. Sean was always super friendly and quick to reply and address all my concerns. They have limited delivery times, but it worked out for me. The guys (Ronan(?) and Connor) called to let me know they were on their way and arrived when they said they would. Once they had seen the couch, they offered to take more stuff since they had a big truck. They ended up taking a dresser and my mattress. They were super quick, friendly and efficient. They definitely knew what they were doing, wrapped up all the furniture before putting it in the truck and unwrapped it when they got to my new place. Seriously awesome service all around. I hired this company because of the many rave reviews in Yelp and I was smart for doing so. These guys are true professionals, through and through. The two guys who did all that hard loading work were kind, fast and careful. There was not a scuff or scratch on any of my belongings after the move. They were a bit late at the start, as there was a mixup in the schedule. Hey, mistakes happen even with good companies. What I liked about Go Truck Go! was how they handled the mishap. They were extremely apologetic. We still got out of my old place in time with no damage to belongings and they gave me a discount in the cost because of the trouble. Trouble?
