Marlo, the lady in the office is so amazing I showed up a couple minutes after six and she closed at 6 PM. She opened the doors and was filling out my paperwork, When the rudest man that I've ever had contact with comes into the office and reprimand me for my truck being parked in the wrong spot I went outside immediately and I said I'm sorry I didn't know where to park and he was rude about that too. I'm 70 years old and for a man to talk to a woman like that is unbelievable and unexcuseable much less a manager that lives on site and he said he wasn't being rude so what does that mean he's an asshole all the time????? If you are relocating to the area and are in need of a storage I highly recommend Security Public Storage! Steve & Angela are wonderful Managers and always go the extra mile for their customers. All the office staff are great. I have been a customer for almost a year now and I wouldn't think of going to another company'. Never any issues or concerns, and I can always rely on them to contact me if there are ever any changes beforehand. They always call you with a reminder notice that payment is due so you aren't hit with a late fee. And obtaining a storage is easy as 1-2-3 they get you in and out quickly. They care and aren't looking at you as just another dollar sign. They look at you like family and treat you like it too! Don't believe me go ahead and see for yourself. First 3 months was $80.00 I realized if you are late .... they lock you out of your storage , suspend your access to enter the gate, they do not even tell you they will do it ... they just do. The one day I had to move i packed the u-haul went down to the storage to unload everything and magical my code for the gate had got changed. Steve admitted this happened because they forgot to save it. So meanwhile my girlfriend put the storage in her name and I cant get the new code because I'm not her and they won't give her the new code. This place totally screwed me on the one day I had to move. Basically it was Steve. I cant remember the other ladie upfront but since I understood it this was their error and pointed this out several times she tried to kick me off the property. Really great people!!! I rent a unit from this place for many years now and never had a major issue other than increase of monthly fees, until now. Recently my daughter and I rented a Uhaul van thru them and the older gentleman that helped us went over the contract with us and said it needed to be due back there before 6pm or we will be charged. Well Uhaul contacted us stating it's suppose to be due at 3:30 and where's the vehicle at and why haven't we returned it. So I contacted this place and the lady I spoke to was extremely rude and told me to read the contract well first off, he didn't give me a copy nor did he email me one. Second he went over this soo call contract verbally and said it needed to be back before 6pm filled with the same amount of gas in it when it was given to us. Lastly I am being charged for his false communication. Being a customer for so long and the gentleman there pretty much scammed us. The lady literally did not want to hear any of what I had to say and said call Uhaul if you have an issue. I understand it's not an actual Uhaul company but to misinform what the actual contract says is very unprofessional. Way to go on customer service!! read more

Another year is passing,one thing that remained true is the staff at Security Pacific Storage on Woodland Ave. It's been 5 years and 3 States twice.I still have all of my possessions, plus the peace of mind that they are safe. Also, that I am safe when I am there. When i had a situation, it never turned into a problem. This place has gone downhill to pure garbage. I currently have my personal things here. Every time I turn around, they're are raising the rates. I just paid my bill April 13, 2017 and now they say I owe $304.00 WTF?! My monthly is $107.00. Someone needs to learn how to do math there. They force you to add on insurance and charge lots of extra fees ever month. I'm grabbing my stuff out of this facility. I can't stress enough that this place has gone to sh!t! Very unhappy and they would have received zero (0) stars in my book. Word to the wise, find a another storage facility because Woodland Security Storage is not for my things nor should it be yours. Its not worth writing a good review for a 15% discount. They can keep it. All price hikes have been aggressive and no notices sent saying that the rates have risen. BAD BUSINESS practice and being a business owner for 17 Years, I would notify all of my customers ahead of time of any price changes PERIOD! I thought that I would never write a bad review for Woodland Security Storage, but they are taking advantage of their customers. I agree with RJr, the price started off great but it's constantly increasing ever since, some times twice in one year. We pay twice the amount now from what it was when we first rented a unit there in 2018. They just increased our rent $15 more this month. I guess the impact Covid19 is having on everyone doesn't concern them. If I can't pay for the unit I will lose it. Funny how The rest of the U.S. is closed down or allowing your payments to wait except for them. Even my cell phone company has decreased my monthly bill to $15 a month. The facility is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great just off Hwy 99. So if you're looking for convenient clean and friendly then its definitely a good place. read more

When I called to rent a unit here I told them that I needed a unit that I can easily access... its been very difficult for me to get in and closed the door of the unit. I have mention this to them several times but only once they sprayed something on the lock so it could gilde better. It's so sad that they can't have units that are more accessible for people with disabilities. read more

When I first went I got a great deal. It was was reasonable 3 or 4 months later the price changed. It is worth it . Its clean and you can get right to your unit. They are very helpful and pleasant with smiles,I'm happy that I decided to go there. I don't worry about my stuff it's safe . And they always give me %off ,for reviews on sites. I have been using this facility for close to 5 years. Last year I found a good size leak in my unit. I reported it and they said they would take care of it. This year it leaked worse. I asked them to at least tarp it until they got around to fixing it. They didnt. I like the people but have learned to hate the place. Had my unit for a few months went to go check on my stuff and there was so much dirt in my unit and all over my stuff.... I went to the office and spoke with a lady and addressed the issue she told me... " ill let you use my broom so you could sweep it". Ya let me sweep it.... Although I have been renting from this facility for over 2 months now, at first it was great pricing and customer service (Tina was very helpful in getting us started), well great pricing came to an end.. We were told that we can sign up again to get the "great pricing" again, but online, and we would have to vacate and occupy a different storage. #1 Why do we have to leave 1 storage and move to another one, everyone knows moving is not a great experience. #2 When I requested to use the free moving truck they offered I was denied due to the fact we did not reserve in advance. I get that we did not make the proper reservations, but the truck was not being occupied. Well I did complain and they did allow us to use the truck for 2 hours max. We have a 10 x 25 unit, do you really think we can move a house full of stuff from one storage unit to the next with in 2 hours? I think we should have been allowed to stay in the same unit without all this hassle. Especially when my husband is traveling from San Jose to Modesto just to move our stuff. Is it worth it... Heck No! We are now facing extra gas expenses on top of my husband taking another day off of work. I would not recommend this location as in the end Tina was not much of a great help.
